I was nearly scammed on Christian Mingle too! First Red Flag... They want you to get off the Dating site right away. 2. They tell you how wonderful you are, beautiful, they are madly in love with you. 3. Often in military, or have a great job that requires them to travel to other countries! I gave none of my personal information or anything. I reported him/them to the dating site and left the site. Thanks for the warning. I'm sorry this happened to you. 🌹❤
Good for you that you reported him. You seem to know what you are doing - good job. Let’s keep sharing our story and put these creepy scammers Out Of Business!
My wife left when I was in the middle of a cancer battle. My therapist told me that I had no business dating for one year. She was right. Doing the internal work is critical to future success in relationships.
I have stayed away from the dating sites because (1) the experience for men is already pretty horrible, and (2) it just seems way too easy for scammers to mess with me.
What I can say with online dating is all about being Lucky because I have seen people giving testimonies. 2ly never give money to someone you have never met. nowadays scammers are not only on dating app they are very were, you can even meet a scammer in the church.
The crazy part about it is that you have to pay for Christian Mingle so you wouldn’t think there would be any scammers ?! We have to have discernment and pray that God leads us in the right direction.
@@whitney24100 Actually, I'm on CM right now for free. They offer basic features for free, they charge extra for upgrades such as being able to see more than one photo, notifications and things of that nature.
As a guy, I encountered some misleading woman who did not live in the same town they said they were from. Yes, both guys and ladies are having the same problem. Also, I have been scammed too and knew it from the start. Anyone asking for money is not a real person on a dating site. Always keep your guard up. Yes, there are nice guys and ladies out there doing the right thing. Keep the faith and you will find someone. God bless you.

I was actually considering chrisitan mingle but something kept tugging in my heart in not to do it. Ran into your video and i want to say a big Thank You. It was great information and eye opening. God Bless you 🙏
Thank you Amanda for your support, sorry I didn't reply sooner. Like I said in the video, don't give out your email too soon, the Christian Mingle or Match.com system will be protecting you because they run back round checks and kick out the liars as fast as they can. Stay safe.
In fact, I'm working on a teen Bible class to emphasize this. We can't survive without morality. You end up with a country where nobody trusts each other, and there are plenty of 3rd world countries like that in the world. There is a pervasive culture of dishonesty, scamming, and nobody ever keeps their word to include never showing up on time to work.
@@yaimavol You're so full of it. You don't need God or religion to have morals. Get real guy. Stop spreading your bullshit around that only Christians can have morality.
@@kodiakbear123 I didn't say that in my post. I said we as a society cannot survive without morality and we are raising a generation that does not understand this
@@yaimavol You're emphasizing that Christianity and morality go hand in hand when they don't. Nobody trust each other because we have been brought up in a society that values money and materialistic goods. Not only that but you have the media that constantly spews lies on both sides just to push an agenda.
I really agree --- I'm a masculine man...widowed --- but...there's a lot of women too --- there's a huge amount of people...when they ask for an email...rather than a phone number...and stay away from texting --- and be sure to get a copy of a driver's license...and anyone who can't get together within say...a month...more redflags. But...you're soooo right...There are good people out there...but...boy...decent people are pretty rare!!
Good tips - yes it's tough shuffling through all the junk, but I do still think there are a lot of decent people, maybe not on the online dating system.
Brittney You are so right, I had no idea there was a thing called cat fishing and I did not expect to find it on Christian mingle. Now that I focus on walking with Jesus in my life I do sense a difference and the evidence of it is that everything flows well, less problems, I am making better decisions, and I have hope. Instead of focusing on trying to find a man through Internet dating, I am focusing on fulfilling my life‘s purpose and taking it one day at a time. Isn’t it nice to know God gives purpose to the whole world and each of us have a purpose to fulfill? I don’t want to end up with the wrong guy again so I’ve surrendered meeting somebody to God and if it’s meant to be then it will happen. There’s a sense of freedom in that decision. God bless you Brittney, hope everything works out for you.
Leslie Boyle it very honoring to know that God’s purposes are our individual Lives are designed specifically for us. Im so glad to hear that your in a better and safe place. Although i choose. Ot to date online, i have left that area to God. He would send the right person in my life to be with. It is just as you’ve said.. if it is meant to be, it will happen
Really? Are you supposed to have a million $$ too and will it just show up at your door? What about the belief that God helps those who help themselves? While this verse is not exactly in the Bible, this thought is. It’s best to be busy because motion that is in motion gets results, sitting on the couch gets no results. I think we should all pray that we recognize the mate God is sending us, I’m wondering if part of our problem is we don’t recognize gifts from God?
This happens everywhere now. I've even had it happen on LinkedIn. The scammers are out there like crazy lately, and yes, there must be some list they all share. That's why people should make their social media profiles private (a lot of times that's how they steal pics/info about people). And definitely new parents shouldn't be putting the kids birthday, weight, time of birth, etc etc etc online for all to see because this is setting the kid up later as I can see this only getting worse and everything on the internet is on the internet forever. Too bad hackers and scammers don't use their skills for good, seems like a waste of talent/brains. Also, if someone is victimized by someone it can affect the person emotionally as well, yet another reason people don't want to talk about it. That being said, I'm really glad that you put this out there and made your friends and family aware. People can stick together and hopefully help one another instead of harm one another. A sad situation really. I'm glad that you figured it out and are helping others. May your future be blessed and happy, with no more scammers.
Thank you for sharing. We need to tell these experiences. I was reached out to by an "army" man in Afghanistan, and he listed a place he was at. I looked it up and the place had just been dismantled. When I confronted him, he had an excuse. It didn't add up. He said he wanted to have children, even adopt them. I told him to go find a younger woman, I was too old. It just kept being crazy. I told him i didnt think he was real. He said he would contact me, and I knew there would be some problem. And sure enough, there was, there was an attempt ( through the computer), but it was thwarted. I told him that I like my men real. And I dropped it. He attempted later, but i didnt respond..
I can understand your situation. I worked at two different universities in Oregon for over 30 years. I was in the security departments of each and it is quite common for sexual predators to be on campus because it is an environment where there are a lot of young women who are vulnerable. This is because they are away from home and on their own for the first time. In many cases they simply do not have the "social skills" to recognize potentially dangerous situations. They go to parties where there are many men who have been drinking. Most young women who are raped on campus are raped by someone who is an acquaintance not a stranger, it usually happens for freshman, and usually during fall or winter term. There are also many sexual predators who loiter in areas where sactivities such as cheerleader or gymnastic camps are being given. Universities will provide such camps during the summer months as a means of using their facilities to make money when they are typically empty. I imagine that Christian Mingle attracts these predators because Christian women at least appear to be more vulnerable or naive. I am glad God was watching out for you and prevented this from happening to you. Wise as serpents... Harmless as doves.
Yes, I just saw an ID episode about a young girl that got snatched off a campus in OR. Some guy lured her over to his van and said he was lost. It can happen so fast, nobody sees anything and the girl is never seen again.

Exactly why I want to remain single and not deal with all this crap! The scammers are everywhere and I did get scammed in the beginning. I had a woman claiming that she was trying to get into modeling. Then I learned is modeling agencies will assist a woman if they are interested in her. She claimed to be broke and needed all this money to get into the business! I am done with online dating and I am done with dating. Singleness rules...
Anthony, I totally and completely understand your frustration. Maybe you need to be single for a while and enjoy that I am. But I keep an open mind as to maybe I can meet somebody so just be open to opportunities that God may send your way but live your life single live it to the fullest and I think when we least expect it something wonderful may happen. But I just live day to day for now in peace. Blessings to you.
Good to know. I'm a widower of two years and I've had friends and family encourage me to use these dating sites for seniors. This woman's story is how I see all these sites. I'm a former police officer and I am a naturally suspicious person. Shortly after my wife past I started getting friends requests from Filipino woman on FB and had to change my settings.
Ron, these sites can work, especially if you use it to meet people locally. I suggest you take advantage of FaceTime so you know for sure who you are talking to. And don’t give anyone money. Blessings to you.
Hi Paul, I’m sorry I didn’t reply sooner, thought I did. I too am praying that I and all my brothers and sisters in Christ find our soulmate and live a happy and prosperous life, and bring glory to God. Merry Christmas.
Good thing to remember is that you should never fully trust anyone, no matter how real or nice they seem. If they ask for personal information, either lie or don't give them anything.
Ten or eleven years ago I tried Christian mingle. I had the exact same experience. Men traveling to other countries for his great job, suddenly a crisis comes up and he ask for money. One said he had a small daughter who needed emergency medical, etc. so on and so forth, scam, scam, scam, very exhausting and scary. Never again. They do target Christian women and play on their sympathy, guilt, etc. You were wise. I am sorry it happened to you but very glad that you caught on. Many, many women have been scammed out of thousands and hundreds of thousands of dollars. It is not safe.
Dating apps very rarely if ever work for the same reasons, regardless of which app, most people are just on there for casual reasons, and yeah tons and tons of fake profiles and scammers. Ive heard tons of these stories and ive experienced a good amount of them myself. its all a waste of time unless you're really bored
Thank you so much for sharing your story and trying to protect other woman from these con artists - I really really appreciate your video - cheers from Canada
On dating sites, men in the military on assignment is a big red flag 🚩 Also, men who work on oil rigs are another one as they “can’t” call or FaceTime.
@@leslieboyle3297 thank you for the warning! I always think that I’m too smart to send money. But if i get emotionally involved, then I no longer am thinking. @@deekk3936 Yes I agree pray first and before you make any decisions. Sadly, many people including me have prayed after the problem developed. But, if we can stop and learn from our mistakes then we can move forward, and be stronger - repent and don’t waste time living in guilt. Life is too short for that. Besides, when God forgives us He forgets our mistakes and gives us a fresh start. Being a Christian is awesome!!
Date someone you know for a long time (maybe a friend) who attends church, loves the Lord, reads his word and will pray for you. I think that's the kind of guy all christian woman should be looking out for whether on christian dating apps, missionaries or churches.

I live in a small community. I noticed the married women at church distanced themselves from me when I became single. I could tell they seemed to worry that someone single could be looking at their husband or fear singleness is contagious. It makes it difficult to fit in when you are alone. I had some bad experiences and now only listen to sermons at home online. Sometimes people can say the cruelest things without even trying.
Thank you for sharing. I recently deleted my profile information on Christian Mingle, due to the large number of scammers. It’s a scary world out there! We all need to be wise and never assume a person is for real. I’ve heard the tip of asking the person to write a number on a piece of paper, take a selfie with it, and post it on the site, to prove they are the person they say they are. They could still be a scammer, but it is something a sincere person could do.
My dad was a cheater that was on just about every dating thing you can think of. Be on guard. Just because it's "Christian" doesn't mean you don't have to be cautious. In fact, I'd suspect there'd be more preying on there cause that's where the sheep are. Scammers, cheaters, whatever, can be anywhere.
Thanks T for sharing, sorry to hear about your dad. I didn’t grow up with my dad, always wished he was around more but as I got to know him I’m glad he wasn’t in my life. I pray for the protection of families and marriages and that God will bless us all because the family units are the foundation for this great country of ours.
As women we get hit on/asked out at the gym, market, out with friends etc. The last place I’m looking is on an app or online, it attracts the bottom of the barrel people-wise, I’ve heard the horror stories from friends. Don’t be desperate, people. Men and women can smell desperation a mile away and will exploit it. Meet people organically in person, nothing better than that.
I fairly recently met someone on CM who says he is a retired Army officer living in Florida. Now I’m really starting to wonder if everything he has told me is a lie. He hasn’t asked me for anything, but wants to meet in person. Thank you for making this video. This is very disturbing to learn, and it has really opened my eyes!
Maybe you’ll be one of the lucky ones and meets a real person, I’m sure you’ve already thought about meeting in a public place. As many have stated, a real man would not ask a woman for money. So just pray about it and stay safe

I know a woman who went on a german dating site for Christians and after a short time she got engaged with a guy she met there. He even took her to his church, and she was confident they would get married soon. He ran into some "problems with his business" and asked her for money. She gave him 6000 USD. When she ran out of money, he dissolved the engagement. And then he went back on that dating site to look for another victim.
Wow, that is taking it to the next level of evil deception! Thanks for sharing. My friends, don’t give up your money, you want someone who can stand on their own two feet.
“The devil can cite Scripture for his purpose. An evil soul producing holy witness Is like a villain with a smiling cheek, A goodly apple rotten at the heart. O, what a goodly outside falsehood hath!” ― William Shakespeare, The Merchant of Venice It's good that CM has their members' backs but it's even better to have YOUR OWN back. When talk of romance turns to talk of finance it's time to give the old Michigan handshake. P.S. You don't even look like a grandmother one time over, much less nine!!
Great info. Women need to hear this. It makes total sense that con artist would do that. You don’t really know the person on line. Women are Vulnerable to relationships. Don’t even answer someone who approaches you in Facebook. I think I had the same guy approach me on Facebook and I didn’t answer back. Another thing they will say dear or honey. I am not there dear or honey. That is very disrespectful and a red flag. Women Work on your personality and gain insight as to codependency issues. Do not send anyone money. If they are saying they need money or something else don’t do it. I would ask right there do I want a man that is asking me for money? No! I should be the opposite. Ladies please don’t be dumb. ❤
Thanks carmenburnham for sharing - TRUTH! We need to be skeptical, cautious and not afraid to say NO, Hell No, No way Jose, Get Lost loser. Never given anyone money or care packages, and video chat asap to know who you are really communicating with. Stay safe.
One of the many advantages of using dating sites is that individuals are able to vet (screen) members who exhibit red flags! If an individual asks for money, a phone number, an email address, mailing address or anything outside the dating app or website before you're comfortable, you have the choice of saying no or ending the conversations all together. No one can take advantage of you without your permission. Everyone online is not going to be upfront and honest even if they're on Christian websites. The same holds true if you met them in person.. if you met him at a bar, at a social, at a mixer, at work, if you were introduced to him by a friend.. he could still have the same scam artist tendencies as someone online with a dating profile 😩
So true Glen - people need to keep their guard up where ever they are. People need to learn to be critical thinkers, and make people earn their trust. Thanks for sharing.
When the scammers contact me, I often play stupid just to see how far they can carry on a conversation before my questions are to intimidating for them to answer. Most of the scammers I've encountered are such shallow people, they can't relate to conversations that require depth and character.
The lieutenant, promised my Aunt the world when they retire. He wanted money for a Korean kid in the hospital and he is American. Just lying, not just Nigerians they come in every nationality now.
Come on Kelly, not all Nigerians are liars and scammers, we have real sincere people too. More so, evil is prevalent everywhere now. Am sorry if a Nigerian has blemished our name, but we are not all like that. God bless you
Don't be gullible for love even if you religious. Take your time stay on the site and don't be desperate. Just because it's a Christian mingle doesn't mean people don't lie come on guys.
So thankful I found your video. I was on our time dating site and some of the "women" tried the same thing. I removed my entire account. After hearing this about a Christian dating site, I believe if God has a women for me, I will meet her in church, face to face. If that doesn't happen I have no problem in being alone. God know what we all need, so I will wait on the Lord.
Being a Grandmother, and a widow, I was just considering checking out a Christian dating site, but I do have my suspicions. from hearing all kinds of stories and scams... Bob Green.. yes that is what I said about if God wants me to find another man, he will come along.. but My husband has been gone 5 and a half years...... still.... I often wonder if you can fall in love again in your 6o's.. hahah....LOL
I did join Christian Mingle at the advice of my daughter and I thought I would pay up for one month. Well that month is just about done.. I found that there are not many real christians on there. One or two maybe But they will only let me see the ones that they want me to see.In 3 days I am leaving it. So if God wants me to find someone with true love, He will have to provide. from Canada..
Elmnopen I think a lot of single people are feeling very lonely right now being so isolated from everybody & compounds the problem. But don’t lose hope, I haven’t because I believe God answers prayers. It is safer to meet people in person by joining groups going to outdoor activities. I’ve gone back to doing things the old-fashioned way and meeting people in person. Not that I’ve met anybody but I still have hope.
Goodness i understand the struggle. Being actual military and christian trying to date is hard already. Now theres fake profiles out there making bad names for us. Dang thats terrible.
Hello Leslie, When a man or anyone that use God name in vain is a giant red flag. Watch out for someone that uses obscene language, to describe their life over and over. An intelligent man or woman depending on the case. will engage in a thoughtful discussion on common topics of today. Getting to know a person is fun and exciting but, can be dangerous in our world. Listening to a person describing things is fascinating and interesting, many people have very big ego's and want to talk exclusively about themselves. I would listen and not give out personal information to anyone you don't know. Much can learn by listening to a person heart and their Faith. Thank you for sharing this experience you had. I think if we can pray and believe God for what we asked of Him in prayers, he will direct our path to the right person. People meet for a reason but sometimes we are quick to judge a person’s approach or appearance because of our previous experiences. We should let God direct our path and not trying to do it ourselves
Erik Magnethi, Jack Dominic or Richard Smith - whatever your real name is - you are the kind of guy I stay away from. I don't communicate with men that use more than one identity online. Your talk about praying? Start with repenting.............

These scammers are very good at what they do and they're technically savvy, so you don't stand a chance against them unless you are extremely careful! My own experience is that they also pose as women to elicit money from older men. I had one scammer who had pix of an attractive woman named Teri on one site and on another site, the SAME EXACT PIX with the name Rose! Beware, people! Don't lose your life savings to these con artists!
I too have seen the same thing when scammers are using the same picture with different names, different background history on different sites. Unless you’re using online dating to find somebody in your town it really isn’t worth the risk I think.
That’s right Gerialana, they are liars, with one goal in mind and that is to con us out of our time and money. Don’t ever talk to anyone until you FaceTime live to see who you are really speaking with.
You are right, it goes both ways. Women try to scam men just as men try to scam women. I'm on Christian Mingle and a woman tried to scam me. Once she asked if I could "loan" her some money, over $10,000, I said no and ended our texting. Just thought I'd share my experience.
OMG 10K? Good for you to end it. I now really think texting first is not a good idea - face time to see who you are really communicating with right from the start. Maybe face to face, there will be less people asking for money because we will knock out the scammers sitting in a room somewhere in Nigeria.
Even the so-called Christian sites are going to be more interested in getting your money than in maintaining a platform with integrity. And how is there even a way to verify they are acting in good faith?
There's a podcast on You Tube for this very thing. They ask people to go to their channel to tell their story. The name of the podcast is Scamfish in case you are interested. Good luck and thanks for your video xoxoxoxo
All dating sites & job sites are after is the advertising revenue. To my knowledge, these dating sites are completely unregulated by anybody. They used to be the most complained upon industry in the entire US. Great video.

My Christian Mingle marriage lasted 10 years. I finally found that she has a personality disorder (NPD) that drives her to selfishly control, manipulate and provoke-to-rage -- with no real empathy/Love. A "normal" church member dating situation would have allowed some referrals on each others personality and Faith. Christian Mingle is a true leap of Faith -- a high-stake gamble. NEVERTHELESS God definitely setup this marriage for a season . Now we both get to enjoy our Senior years with true loved-ones -- but not each other, I would not use a dating site again -- if I could avoid it.

@@leslieboyle3297 It can happen with people you have known a long time as well. Even when you think you knew them, you find out you did not know them at all. It happened twice with me. One was a Chiropractor whose children had gone to the same school as mine, I knew him 20 years, but he had been married. We decided to date after both being divorced nearly 5 years, he was going through midlife or something. Totally went out of character after his divorce. He even bought me an engagement ring, we went on some trips, etc. but he was cheating. The other was an engineer who I had known for twelve years through my business. We ran into each other after we were both divorced. Became engaged, I moved to be with him, it became a total nightmare as well. He had women strung along all over the country. I think he became addicted to dating sites. He was nice looking, successful, a real good catch from a woman's point of view and he knew it. It is too easy these days for people to cheat and they love the attention they get online. I am staying single.
Happens to us guys too...since my family was in the military. I caught them in several lies. I noticed an 82nd airborne patch, but they told me they are based in area’s that has no airborne. They couldn’t give me platoon or brigade info. And a bunch of other lies
As a woman, I won't ask a guy for favours. What makes you think a good man will ask for favours? Men have a bigger ego than women! Asking for help just seems to them means they are incapable of taking care of things. So that's a give away!
That's really unfortunate. Too bad there are no single women in church to meet. It took me many years to find a girl who would go to church (met her on christianmingle) and the church we went to wouldn't marry us because she was divorced :(
I used to be Catholic - sounds like a Catholic Church? We need to pray that God places us in the right church. Are you both still together? I am praying blessings over you Marty. Sorry for the late reply, just saw your message today.
Praise the Lord, brothers and sisters! My name is Joshua and I'm a true believer in Jesus Christ. I'm looking for a woman who shares my unwavering commitment to the Lord and who is ready to submit to me as the head of the household. I'm a firm believer in the traditional roles of men and women, and I expect my future wife to stay at home and take care of the household while I provide for our family. I don't believe in feminism or women's rights - I believe that a woman's place is in the home, serving her husband and raising godly children. I'm also looking for a woman who is completely pure in every way. I don't want to date anyone who has ever had premarital sex, used drugs or alcohol, or engaged in any sinful behavior. I'm not interested in women who have tattoos or piercings, either - those are marks of the devil! As for me, I'm a worship leader and a Bible scholar. I spend most of my time studying the Word of God and praying for guidance. I believe that the Bible is the literal, infallible Word of God and that it should be taken at face value. If you're a true believer who is ready to submit to me as your head, and you're completely pure in every way, then I'd love to get to know you better. Let's pray together and see if God has brought us together for a holy purpose.
To LESLIE BOYLE: Leslie thanks for your "heads up" because I was considering trying a dating app. You brought back to mind a saying my friend used to say to me, and that was "When someone is showing you "who they are...BELIEVE THEM. My ACTIONS are going to tell you a lot more of what I REALLY am all about DESPITE what my lips may be saying. It is sad that their are so many wolves out there...but there are, and we need to protect ourselves. As for me I am going to focus on helping the many other people in my life.....and if God intends that I meet someone, I am sure he can make that happen, But I am certainly not going to sit around sighing and pineing away for Mrs right to come along. I have had at least my fair share of relationships and I feel good being able to help all the people that are around me. If I am not careful it is easy to fall prey to selective memory, the idea that says "oh things would be much better if I was in a relationship,,,,,forgetting that sometimes it is really difficult to be in a relationship....it takes a lot of work and owning ones "stuff" and that is hard enough...even when one is single...never mind all the "stuff" that comes with TWO people. I hope you join me in not waiting...for someone to "come along" and you'll decide for yourself..."I am going to have cool life TODAY..RIGHT NOW....I only have one life and I am going to make every minute count....Relationship or not Your friend TIM
Thanks Tim for your comments, I absolutely believe people should not stay in their homes waiting for the knock on the door. We need to get out and live our lives, enjoying our hobbies and the people that are in our lives. Leave the rest up to God. If you are alone for now, what are you producing? Are you gaining knowledge, starting a new career, donating time to your favorite charity, getting in better shape and staying healthy? There is so much to do, I go to sleep late every night because even though I am alone, I can't get everything done in a day. Be blessed!
*** I continue to get requests from guys who have multiple identities on line. How do I know that? I use the Image Search app - and it is free. Having multiple identities is a Definite Red Flag - Don't trust them if they show different names, locations and occupations. Submit a picture of the person in question and the app runs through several different search programs - searching very quickly billions of pictures. We don't ever have to be fooled again. I always use the Image Search and prevents me from starting to get into a problematic situation. And there is also the Reverse app - look up phone numbers and find out who is really calling you. ***
That happened to me too I was communicating with someone he said that she was in the military like two weeks later she asked me to Western Union her some money bad red flag
Hi sweet pea, now that you know - stay safe. Use video chat asap to see who you are really talking to. And never give anyone money - in fact, if it were me that would be a big enough red flag to cancel all communications. Be blessed and safe.
Hi Slaterguy, just saw your message today. It’s better to give it to God. I just heard Match.com has a video chat now which would be crucial as one starts to meet someone new. I wonder if Christian Mingle has that option? I am not ready to try it, just mentioning it to you. God Bless you and thanks for sharing your thoughts.
@@renees5687 I understand how you feel, just take it slow, don't give out your real email and stay on the dating site and let them do their back ground checks for awhile, don't give out any money and video chat right away so you know the person you are talking to is the real thing. And if I were to go back on a dating site, I would ask the person for a back ground check report. Also you can use a free app called image Search. Take a picture of the person and upload into the Image Search app and see if their picture is associated with any other names and occupations. More than I identity and I don't have anything to do with them. Be safe and blessed out there.
I agree Devine - dating is a puzzle - it has me confused. That’s why I am in a corner also - it is a safe place to be - watching what is going on. I am staying out of the Drama lane. God Bless you Devine.
It’s a business like any other and we are a market. I guess a fish doesn’t get hooked if it closes its mouth. I’d rather meet a person irl. If God has laid this burden on my heart, then he will have to fulfill it
Guess what I started doing in response to scammers.... I say don't you know that you can go to hell 🔥 for trying to scam people, especially widows , if you don't change your ways. Tell Your Friends! (It shut them up about 95% of the time. One time a scammer called the live revival service in Tampa, FL where I was and repented on the phone!)
Glad you are doing better Leslie these dating sites have so many scammers on it very few real honest people on these sites one reason I don't use online dating sites.
Thanks Steve, I haven't been on any dating sites this year since this happened. I am just living my life, staying active which puts me in tough with a bunch of different people and trusting God to send me the right one at the right time. Take care.
Thanks a million for sharing your experience with me, you never know who to trust, I find the same problem, I hope things work out for you I'm the end 😊 ❤️
Yes in deed a real jungle, scammers are everywhere, and lurking heavily in Instagram, a real annoyance. Be sure to use the free app Image Search whenever someone contacts you. If they have more than 1 identity - don't deal with them. Sometimes when I have time, I look them up when they contact me, then tell them I don't speak to scammers and to keep it moving. It really upsets them, then I block them lol.
This happening with groups, such as Aging Alone.same story he works on oil rig, started asking for money, blah blah, great you are helping!!!bow to you!MIne also asked google chat, different pictures, different passports.women check on American romantic scammers
Well I have had my share of online dating. However, Ive not had these types of problems because I strictly deal with local or at the very least a short drive away people
These sites often have links that allow you to see who's been visiting your profile, so if you receive a message from someone who doesn't address you by name and claims to be impressed by your profile, and you find that the person hasn't visited your profile, you can be sure it's a scammer. People will sometimes lie about their ages on dating sites; one woman I met was born in 1966, and after not having much success in making connections, changed the birth year on her profile to 1976. My favourite fake was one where the profile claimed to be that of a Native American woman with black hair, while the accompanying photo was of a white woman with blonde hair.
True, I had never been scammed b4, and it is no fun. That’s why I am speaking up and helping others to not get scammed. The more we speak up , the faster scammers will be out of business.
Doing the internal work is critical to future success in relationships.
hope your doing well......my friends wife left when he was diagnosed with MS he is in wheel chair now.
I have stayed away from the dating sites because (1) the experience for men is already pretty horrible, and (2) it just seems way too easy for scammers to mess with me.
Because men like fake women
What I can say with online dating is all about being Lucky because I have seen people giving testimonies.
2ly never give money to someone you have never met. nowadays scammers are not only on dating app they are very were, you can even meet a scammer in the church.

The more and more people steer away from God in this country The worse it gets
@@kodiakbear123 I don't think you know much about Christianity other than the fact that you're biased and bigoted against it.

Leslie Boyle it very honoring to know that God’s purposes are our individual

If God intends me to have a man in my life I'm 100% sure he will send one to me 🙏🙏🙏🙏
Thank you for sharing Angela, by speaking of, we are putting a stop to scammers.

Hello my dear friend
How are you.?
Good thing to remember is that you should never fully trust anyone, no matter how real or nice they seem. If they ask for personal information, either lie or don't give them anything.
Chapstick Warrior - this is good advice. People need to earn our trust. Trusting someone too soon may be a costly mistake.
Yes, sad but true, they are after the Christian big hearted woman. Thank you for sharing your story with us.

I know a woman who went on a german dating site for Christians and after a short time she got engaged with a guy she met there. He even took her to his church, and she was confident they would get married soon. He ran into some "problems with his business" and asked her for money. She gave him 6000 USD. It’s not exactly the same for men. Women have to consider their physical safety much more than men, when it comes to dating.

Bob Green sorry about that, always remember that a wait from God doesn't mean it's a no, just wait upon the Lord

I'm a great guy, and I had no idea there was so much scamming. makes it even more hopeless.
Junior Ducatel. True so sad how people have become heartless
Russ from Oregon seen on 9-7-19
Thank you Russ for your time and kind words.

only JESUS CHRIST saves. please turn away from all of your sins and live all to the glory of the only true and living GOD, YAHWEH, and praise the LORD GOD, the One Who gave all of us life and laid down HIS very own precious Life for us all so that we may be saved by HIS grace through faith in HIM alone.

You are not the kind of guy for me - good bye.
Unless you’re using online dating to find somebody in your town it really isn’t worth the risk I think.
they always say they are in the military, and they ask for money after you think they are going to marry you,
That’s right Gerialana, they are liars, with one goal in mind and that is to con us out of our time and money.
Jimgam730 .I just joined today I feel like deleting my account
Yep! I had one asking me money too:)
Jimgam730 sorry to hear about that but there good women out there who are not scammers including me
Even the so-called Christian sites are going to be more interested in getting your money than in maintaining a platform with integrity. And how is there even a way to verify they are acting in good faith?
There's a podcast on You Tube for this very thing. They ask people to go to their channel to tell their story. The name of the podcast is Scamfish in case you are interested. Good luck and thanks for your video xoxoxoxo

If it sounds like nonsense, it probably is.
I agree - it is a leap of faith - well put. I am off the online dating sites too and a big advocate for joining clubs/groups you are interested in. We need to meet people that way - with people that share a common interest with you. Thanks for sharing and Happy Thanksgiving!

Hi there
@@kevingray5071 hi
great point Ms. Boyle is making-that scammers are so prevalent in dating apps.
As a woman, I won't ask a guy for favours. What makes you think a good man will ask for favours? Men have a bigger ego than women! Asking for help just seems to them means they are incapable of taking care of things.
So that's a give away!
Good point JC - thanks for sharing!
POF has their share of scammers too.
THANK YOU FOR SHARING THIS!
How are you doing
Any extremely good looking man or woman on a dating app is usually a scam. Dating apps are the bottom of the barrel for dating options
When a woman or a guy request emails, or any of your social media, they are scammers. And if you give your info out, you pretty much fell for it.
True, I had never been scammed b4, and it is no fun. That’s why I am speaking up and helping others to not get scammed. The more we speak up , the faster scammers will be out of business.
