@@jojoadac9400 probably does, but might be harder with bowser since he's so large. his oos game is already pretty nuts so there's not really any reason to go for it though

lol jump a jump a, was a slight to Neds Sephiroth campy behavior on the character. I am aware how difficult playing fox is. Before I retired I used to play Fox recreationally, Samus for Cheese, Serious as Wolf.

Sephiroth doesn't need to be afraid at ledge, fair and side special mixed with up special will make them have to let you up unless they get a crazy down spike

It stress me a lot when ned misses an up smash punish when a missed tech on platform gives every time is almost guaranted kill and even if you dont succed they cannot punish it!

Ned Sephirothbis amazing. I still feel he can abuse shadow flare a little bit more and use mega flare( blue) to force an opponent do an option nid air while they are on disadvantsge and then punish properly.
Anyways I still feel Seph needs a buff or rather an adjustment to his properties. See, good glass cannon like fox have just 1 or 2 disadvantages. Fox disadvantages being his weight and dreadful recovery, but he makes up for it with good frame data, combos confirms and good kill power with upsmash. Seph has range and a comeback mechanic that makes his movement speed and power better, but his disadvsntages are way too many considering other characters with similar range( Byleth) have way less disadvantsges. Seph got light weigh, massive lag on his moves, no OoS options, tipper, cant hit medium to small characters with F.air. His charscter hitbox is similar to a big character, cant store projectiles and so on.
Its kind of funny. I agree with you a lot on this. Most people seem to think Sephiroth is really good and they ignore all of his flaws except for his weight.
I rarely hear people talk about Sephiroth's frame data, last time I checked I think Sephiroth has one of the worst frame data in the game. Or how difficult it is to hit a lot of his moves. Like all of his attacks are punishable from most distances. Most of his attacks are not safe on shield regardless of the distance. You cannot whiff as sephiroth. You have no out of shield options, Fair is one of his main attacks but you have to frame perfect fast fall fair and even then if the opponent is short and or does a move that pushes them to the ground its going to whiff. Its crazy seeing ned whiff his bair, even top tier players whiff that move, and if the move doesn't come out its a hard punish.
The other thing is one wing is overhyped. As you see in this match a lot of times the instant sephiroth gets one wing, he is at kill percent, and only has it for a couple of seconds before he gets killed. The commentators also bring up how Sephiroth has super armor on his smash attacks with one wing, but I think I saw maybe one or two smash attacks from ned the whole set, and none of them connected. Sephiroth's smash attacks are not really that good and not designed to take advantage of super armor.
@@Arunnejiro Absolutely agree on this. One wing is overhyped and the reason being is that even though Sephiroth gains a bit more power and speed, he still have the same core problems. I think what you said is correct, Sephiroth CANNOT whiff which is very odd. If you take super heavyweights like bowser or Krool they do have some sort of way to punish the oponent. Sephiroth is the only character in the game where you can dance around him, poke his shield and do anything you want. You force the Seph player to take his distance to start with neutral again.
Also regarding the super armor, yes, it feels his design is lackluster or lazy and some things on his kit makes not sense at all. Super armor at this point is a gimmick and the initial frames of super armor are not even that great which means they can hit you before the super armor frames activates and you'll die anyways. If Seph super Amor was like Little Mac then it would be better I guess. From all of his smash attacks I think the most useful one in my opinion is the up smash. Great anti air. Down smash is super readable and people expect it because of the shield break and F smash is so laggy that is not worth it. I like how winged seph f. smash is weaker than Pyra's and iPyra does not need tipper

it is not imposible. Anyone with counter xan challenge him and if you know he is going to charge the octalash to go back to the stage you can gimp him out the same way you gimp fox or falco and you just come bsck to the stage asuming your charscter has a gokd recovery

Ned always jumps from the ledge, everytime... surprised Ned doesn't realize this, Light could have easily just ran under him and upsmash only happened once, but back air deaths also works
So many times Ned just jumps for no reason.
