This looks like Harry is in the cockpit of a time machine watching and commenting on himself 10 years in the future.
Shaving ones head after the months of deliberation and self talk, is the most liberating experience. For me, it is comparable to skydiving as a scaredy cat of heights. I watched this previous video and shaved my head with a razor for the first time in 23 years. Feels awesome.

Just want to say thank you Harry! Been dealing with hair loss for a while, I’m 25 now and just decided to buy some clippers and shave it off. A bit of shock at first but just feel a renewed confidence in knowing that I don’t have to waste anymore energy worrying about my hair 🍻

OMG YES, i have been waiting for this moment. I have really long hair, and a lot of it, but its definitely starting to thin, and its very fine hair so when it starts its very noticeable. I know at some point i will have to let it go, and this channel has really helped me come to terms with that and not fear it (quite so much XD). Its also made me think i might get a couple more years out of that extreme mullet look haha

You're not looking bad with mustache and stubble but the classical shaved head/full beard combo suits you better.

i've been doing this like every fall+winter a bit to just letting it grow and shave it when spring comes and i can only come to the conclusion on 4 things.
1, if you're gonna grow it, keep it tidy
2, thinning hair has to go regardless, it's similar to thin beard, it just doesn't work that well.
3, it's more work trying to make it look ok than just taking it all off and keeping it off.
4, people care less than you think especially if it looks groomed well enough.
but there's definitly a future possibly where balding men can have balding haircuts that could look good, it's just that baldness happens differently to people so people i guess haven't taken the time to develop haircuts when you can just take it all off and look fine anyways.
Should legitimately have smp done. It’s not like a hair transplant were you still have that worry of losing it still. Would look amazing and a new chapter and direction to go in
I couldn’t have smp man. Not a look for me and I don’t like the forced maintenance. Say I didn’t cut it for 2 weeks it would look bizarre
@@BaldcafeI worked with someone and I could tell just by looking at them that they had smp done. No judgement, but I also feel like self acceptance is a better route than trying to hide balding with smp, hair transplants, combovers, cover up sprays, hats, etc…

I am watching this channel for many months. I am balding like crazy. So, I want to share an information I got from the doctor last week: The thyroid is tiny. This might be a factor in balding. Gotta take hormons now (1 pill a day in the morning, at least 30 minutes before eating or drinking tea/coffee). If this works: good. If not: I am still not alone with balding 🙂. Thanks a lot for this channel.

I have worn a hair system for over 20 years. Over the pandemic I just began getting a buzz cut and wearing a cap when outside. Can I ask a question of the group? Only a few people have seen me in my now natural state. I am still having a time feeling secure and not wearing a cap at the gym and when going out. I am 66 and retired a few months back. I bounce between shaving my head and buzzing it. You'd think at my age I would not care what others think. Just wondering how long it took guys to really feel comfortable. Thanks All!
Thanks for sharing man. My honest advice is to take the level of honesty and openness you’ve shown in this comment and take it out into the real world. Take incremental steps to expand your comfort zone with not wearing the hat and also having different levels of buzz vs shaved head. Start with small moments. Maybe you take the hat off for some bench pressing, then don’t wear it for 2 exercises etc etc. slowly expand. Use this same tactic with people if they ever ask about your hair (it’s very rare) most people are worried about themselves. Just be honest. Start with a simple… yeah I was going bald and trying to keep up with that is hassle to I just shave it now. No need to go deeper but over time you can if you want. All of this put together makes everything the new normal for you and not even a thing. The more we hide away the more energy we are giving to those insecurities. It’s like they feed off the hiding and covering up. The more you expose them to the open world they die off. As for time, go by your own watch. For some it’s weeks other many months. Time alone won’t solve things if all the time you are hiding away (takes me back to my initial point). I hope that helps but if you do want to go deeper and into more detail, my course “The Baldcafe Way” does a lot of that 👍 linked in description.

Looked like a Russian philosopher, like Dostoevsky or Alexander Solzhenitsyn or Alexander Dugin (this later is a faux intellectual, a fraud). You can definitely rock that look, just keep it better kept, it was a bit too wild, needed a cut.

It’s the continuing to stay on the hair loss train and have balding negatively impact my life forever. I wanted to overcome it but having it not be a thing. The more invested in hiding it the more it’s power over me grows

I see so much pain and suffering in that video. Too much emotions...
I won't ever understand how people just wanna suffer that much when all they had to do is to just take one pill of finasteride a day at first sign of hairloss (safe and highly effective and easy to get / take).
