i forget what audiotree is but kexp would be amazing too. anything like that. only spoke to one guitarist and his english is rly rly good... i was so drunk and happy to see them live at the detroit show. i think that was the last night i saw my friend shin... i would like shout GANBARE or YATTA etc im a nutjob. that would be really cool someone could be there for extra translation if need be too...
our whole band was like pestering their 'guards' outside of the cordoned off vip area "hey for real anyway we can talk to them?" im being honest the response was "they're sleeping"
To see Toe getting such a fat crowd in Buenos Sites is fucking awesome. Tbh I saw them in Denver and not nearly enough people showed up. I listened to all kinds of bands through the years but Toe is one of a kind and one of the very best shows you'll see
I agree 100%. I go to live shows frequent, but none has topped toe for me. I cant truly express how much I respect these guys for the music they make.
In 2015, I took a greyhound bus from Houston to Denver because that was the closest state on their tour. Dumbest mistake of my life, but seeing them was worth it.
I bought a shirt at the merch table, and, today, it's still one of my favorite shirts.
I can't wait until they come back to the US

Cerca de esa fecha tocaron en Chile. Son de las bandas que tienen el mejor sonido en vivo, la batería estuvo muy limpia y sus interacciones con el público fueron memorables. Ojalá verlos otra vez en vivo

Hirokazu and Satoshi were formerly in a Hardcore band, good to know how they have such a vast musical background. Freaking Love Toe

sometimes you can see Takashi wearing Black Flag tees haha who was in a melodic hardcore band too.
I find myself coming back to this video just to watch the magic of what can be created through music again and again.
I came here from a Yvette young interview where she said she was inspired by this band. I love her music and definitely hear the influence from this in her music. Love this set.valways check out your favorite artists influences!
I think that was where I heard about them too! Yvette's one of the best imo so it's no surprise her influences are amazing too!

i know they're math rock and all but i'd dub them as soft core acid! the melodies, metronomic beats and whole ambience just captivate you to the bones.
math rock is somewhat derivative of prog

I was gonna say something similar. There are things I'd maybe mess with if I was recording them separately but as a live mix I might like this one best. They have several good ones.
I've always noticed a specific quality to their recordings, and felt that it was a big part of the overall artistic concept. A little ASMR (Misophonia for me) triggering.
