    My family came from Caithness to Nova Scotia, Canada in the 1800's..

    Nicely done. I gather it was filmed by a drone? By the way, we share the same ancestors. Via David Sinclair that came to Sweden already in the 17th century.

    I’m partly descended from clan Sinclair and clan Gunn. My ancestors were cleared from the highlands at the end of the 18th century so their lords could graze sheep and then their son (my ancestor) got transported to Tasmania as a convict.
    His son then emigrated to New Zealand and his family became very wealthy sheep farmers. I know that they took pleasure in putting the lords back in Caithness who had cleared their forefathers out of business.

      I have been studying my family tree for the past few weeks. It has been an amazing journey going through the timelines and doing research. Helps me to understand more about who I am. I guess we are cousins.. Always happy to find more relatives!
