Jimin > water in hobi’s dance studio (in highlight)
Suga > fire and destroying the instruments (his piano and a guitar, maybe the highlight girl’s guitar..)
Jhope > snickers and the circus (where his mom abandoned him)
RM > himself in the mirror (his solo “reflection”)
Jin > tried and failed again to protected the flowers (members)
Tae > cellphones (I think is related to the call he made to RM in Wings and prologue era or the call his dad on the notes)
and finally JK > escaping to the death and watching the others members struggling with their traumas like Jin in HYYH era
Yes, they did say it was about the traumas, it was in the behind MV shooting episode on BANGTANTV.
Jhope's is snickers and the Merry-go-round/Carousel, I don't think is a circus like they also said in the video (maybe it's a translation thing on my end 😅), in the room there's actually multiple parts of rides from a fair/carnival/amusement park, where he was abandoned 😢
And I would add the sand to Jin, representing time, since he's time travelling, along with his failed attempts in protecting the flowers that you mentioned

Jimin isn't in a bathroom tho... in the extended version you can see it better but he's actually in jhope's dance studio from the highlight reel. the sink that he turns off is the same one where he washed the blood from his arm after colliding with hobi's girl. And there is a mural on the wall of the arboretum that haunts him. 😭

24:30 Actually they are standing in their official line up order 😅they always stand in that order for Red carpets, press conferences... From left to right is Tae, Suga, Jin, JK, RM, Jimin and Jhope.
This line up is like that since their debut, it's as symmetric as they could get by their height differences, althought specially JK and V did grow since then so sometimes it feels a little off balance with Tae being as tall as Jin, but still having to match with Jhope😅

Gabriel was right about the rooms. Namjoon is in a container and he's always by a shipping container seen in multiple videos. The container comes up again and again. Maybe the "monkey bars" are the handles in the bus with the girl? I believe Tae has phones to represent the missed call he made to Namjoon to "save him" after he did his ketchup stuff. JK is looking at all of them but Yoongi also looks over to where JK was too like he knew he was there.
On another note, BTS reacted to cover of their own songs and there was a metal version of fake love. It was really good.
The set designs were also significant. For example, Jimin was in a room that half a bathroom (the bathtub) and half dance studio (her). RM was in a room that was made out of shipping containers (his home) and bus handles (her).
Because I'm an emo girl, I'm sooo glad you finally touched the Fake Love Rocking Vibe mix. Until now, this is the version I listen to, almost, if not everyday hehe. Thank you for going through this BU. For Jin, it's the earpiece/ listening device. Either way, it's from their school days and what he did back then also he was wearing it in his highlight reel and took it out of his ear. it doesn't show what he got.

12:46 Yes, but also there are more references in Fake Love than people sometimes realize, maybe because they don't pause & really take in what they're seeing.
For example, an obvious one I've noticed is reactors will miss that RM is in a place made out of shipping containers, then realize it & stop paying attention to anything else in the room, such as the hanging straps. Nearly everyone makes note of the water in Jimin's room, but don't really examine it long enough to catch what's painted on the wall.
It is difficult to notice everything when your going through the video, even if you watch it repeatedly. I mean for some of these MV’s you literally have to go frame by frame to catch everything which can b time consuming. Considering that CCW went through both versions and the trailer with some rewinds, I think they caught a lot of significant parts as well as the connections. I mean, when we were going through this when it was fresh, we had thousands of other people watching them also, going from by frame, pausing at each scene and pointing out even the most minute details as we tried to figure it out piece by piece. In my opinion, CCW are doing a fantastic job deciphering what has never completely been 100 percent and while they may miss some things, they haven’t missed anything that would truly bring enlightenment to the overall BU storyline.
I'm sure you guys have heard but the actual drama called YOUTH starts April 24th...it's going to be a 12 ep show just in case u guys wanna watch it( lol I'm sure u will) all the actors are actually rookies( the guys wanted it like that) so this will be good and really interesting to see how they handle it, though the teaser looked great

Today is April 11 as well, this date is actually important in the BU storyline 🤭
Also, their songs and solo songs were mostly influenced by their real self and not just for the BU. It is first and foremost their own story that they want to tell and eventually tied into the BU. A great example is Hobi's solo song MAMA, which is entirely dedicated to his mother, but tied into the BU since his storyline also involved his mother. If you read the lyrics, it is his own story and not an ounce related to the BU. It's just the keywords that are connected to the BU and not the whole songs.
Another thing to add: the "Save Me" on the wall behind V can be turned upside down to read "Im Fine". BTS have songs by each of these names and I'm Fine is the reverse notes of Save Me. This is a tattoo that people going through depression and suicidal thoughts get to represent what they are going through.
Yes. One of the reasons Fake Love pretty much stopped me in my tracks and started me down the BTS rabbit hole was that I recognized that Save Me image. Many years ago (before BTS was formed) I had seen someone share a picture of their I’m Fine/Save Me tattoo on social media and it struck a chord with me (PTSD, depression & anxiety - which at the time I tried to hide from most people, so hello, Lie & The Truth Untold 🙋🏻♀️), so I saved it to my phone. A few years after that I showed the image to someone very dear to me I suspected was having su*c*d*l thoughts and might have already attempted it but kept saying she “was fine” and it helped me convince her to check herself into a hospital & start mental health treatment. LY: Tear has burrowed itself into my heart in many ways.

i think it´s tied into their personalities in some way. literally Wings album, look at all the solo songs lyrics. JK sang about his brothers and here we see him looking out for them and we hear him talking about hating seeing them sad. and then we have suga who talks about his first love and also a friend he lost. and hen we have RM´s reflection witch is also spot on. and then Jimin´s Lie who keeps telling lies to himself so he become insane. and those songs was written by the members themself so it could be inspiration for the BU

I don't know if anyone has mentioned this yet, but ... I super didn't notice this myself for literally years until someone else pointed it out to me. But the room Jimin is in, the wall when viewed from a distance, is actually the picture of the arboretum (the picture that is in the Lie film).
To me the flower represent the love you had, you try to protect it but when sh*t happens(explosion) it still can become sand(dust, something that doesn't matter) but even know it feel like your love is totally wasted/insignificant like dust/sand, it's still love.

Im telling you, when the teaser came out, we were excited. It got me hyped when i connected everything
For me, it's the composition of the solo songs is how the members had an influence in. Like all their songs reflects their personal stories regardless of the MVs or BU story. Some might coincide bec all their individual struggles in BU story can happen to anyone like with RM's.
I was so deep into this every single release related to BU, and every single theory I have read
The BU is built on the themes of each album series. The themes of the album series are decided on by the members, particularly RM. From those overarching themes, big hit creates the BU. So, for example, the choice to incorporate Demian as a foundational piece of the WINGS era BU content was a result of RM reading the book and wanting the theme of the WINGS era album (aka the music of that era) to mirror the themes in the book.
In other words, while BTS doesn’t play significant roles in the development of the BU (the creatives at big hit made the BU), the masterminds at big hit use the musical/artistic themes that BTS comes up with for each album series as foundational background as they create each chapter of the BU.
also there’s a metal cover of fake love that bts has seen and they LOVED IT!! it’s a video where they react to different covers of their songs! and i feel gabriel on the screamo 😂 there’s actually a live performance they did in japan where jimin did scream fake love rather than sing it! it’s one of my fave live performances of the song!

32:57 There was one ARMY who commented here explaining that the BU storyline was made by BH writers/masterminds. I do think it's true and that bangtan's ideas somehow is an inspiration into the BU, through their album themes. If you could notice, the BU storyline is overaching the album series from HYYH to Love Yourself series (not really sure but does Yet To Come seem to touch on this too because of the sand aspect ? The whole thing was shot in the desert! Because Emily, your writer did say the sand is a huge spoiler to the storyline. I really don't know! Just a crazy fan theory as well) and the tannies, particularly Joon, had creative inputs into the inspirations for their album themes, especially with the literature pieces he reads like Demian and others. Yes, I would say they definitely had an involvement in some way.

The stories do not reflect their true lives, Jungkook and Jimin had happy childhoods with supportive parents. Tae was brought up by his grandmother as his parents worked so hard and they were not well off. Hoseok also had a good childhood and was never abandoned, the opposite really as his mother worked extra to support him. Suga did not have an easy childhood as like Tae’s family they were not very well off but it was a loving family though strict. I have never seen a referal about him being fascinated with fire though, but he has struggled with mental health over the years. Namjoon I think has always struggled with his persona RM/Namjoon. Jin is similar to him, he has always looked after the members (The only one that has attended every enlistment ceremony), he also comes from a wealthy family and his father is a business man but he is an honest humble man like Jin. I will say no more. Enjoying your journey into BU I am learning so much.

The BU is very complex, after your journey to unravel what is happening is over and you have any doubts, I recommend watching Tiffany Mishima's explanation, unfortunately I don't know if there are subtitles in English since she is Brazilian but she filters out a lot of repeated information and Explains it in a super easy to understand way. I'm loving watching it all again with you! 😉🇧🇷
