- 1992 italian project Double You and british KWS released eurodance versions of KC & Sunsine Band "Please Don`t Go" which sounded literally identical. I mixed them together and you can hear yourself that there are some minor differences in set up and rhythm section but everything else is almost absurdly the same. Double You was popular in continent and KWS in UK where the trio hit the singles number one for 5 weeks.

Double you to KWS: "Please, Dont copy"
The KWS version was recorded because the UK label couldn't secure the distribution rights for the Double You one. By the time they did it was too late, and Double You's version fell just short of the top 40.
Whoa! I grew up with the KWS version but I think objectively the vocal is much better on KWS, and track is basically the same.
A versão com Double You foi um estrondoso sucesso!! Double You é inigualável!!!
Nice collaboration!!
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️👌
This was hilarious at the time, we were confused af lol now I know it's a cover too
como cuando dicen que ser un DJ es cosa fácil 😎
OMG aquí hay dos ganadores, así de simple 😍
Me quedo con ambas versiones 😎👍

KWS got more energy & fun vibes! Double You looks like he’s pissed! 🤔

Poh eu essa versão ficou muito ruim com esse cara!
Es mejor la version de KWS y nada mas.
Double You version is IMO better
KWS made the carbon copy of DJ version to market it in UK

I'd say both are just as good as the original, both of them are dance songs...It's funny considering "Video Killed The Radio Star" form back in 1978/1979 ended up in the same situation as this song from 1992, whereas the first version is the first ever released, but the latter one is the one that ended up in the top 5 compared to the first version unfortunately. Whichever the popular vote goes for, that's what they go for. Whichever version you hear first, that's what you go for.
