    As mentioned no service manual available at time this video made… 2024 TransAlp service manual lists 25 N-m (18 lbf-ft) as torque value for bottom bridge pinch bolts… Thanks for the incredible video!

    Hey one of the great instructional videos. Thanks. You definitely sold a set of lights! I read the comments and deleted a question about having both the lights and the 12 volt plug. You sell a splitter. Thanks again.

      Thank you! Yes, you can run both, you'll just need our splitter so they can be connected behind the cluster.

    Would be great if you had something for the rear tail and brake lights. LED brake strobe module? Not enough lights on back.

    A nice clear video, and appears to overcome one of the shortcomings of the Transalp - it's abysmal headlight performance. Plus your mounting means that we can have the lights without the big upper crash bars.
    Just a couple of questions. Firstly, does this system mean the 12V accessory plug cannot be fitted, or is there room to fit both to the connector behind the gauges, which the accessory plug also employs? And secondly, how much does the conversion kit weigh, for the weight-conscious?
    Also, if I may just add - tightening one pinch bolt of a pair can affect the tension on the other bolt, such that after torquing the second bolt to spec, the first one's tension should be re-checked. Sorry to be picky...

      Thanks for your feedback and questions.
      I believe the total weight is between 2 and 3 pounds but I'll have to double check. We make a splitter that allows you to run two electrical accessories off of that front connector. With that you can run the lights and the 12v outlet. I just need to get those up on the website.

    • @3dcycleparts
      @3dcycleparts  Před 8 měsíci

      You could do that, you'd just have to get crash bar mounts of your choosing if you wanted to change up the mounting. Denali makes some nice ones.

    I ride in NYC, and pot holes are horrible. I want a set of these auxiliary lights to run all the time, high or low beam. Focused more at the area in front of the bike. Can your harness accommodate that set up?

    • @3dcycleparts
      @3dcycleparts  Před 7 měsíci +1

      We can build a harness that does that, it would have to be specific to the lights you're gonna run. Email support@3dcycleparts.com with what dual intensity lights you're gonna run and we can go from there. Or we can build the whole system for you.

    Thanks for the vid manual. I have a 12v socket and heated grips (both Honda's) - is it still possible to install these lights in my bike? Or do I need a power splitter?

    • @3dcycleparts
      @3dcycleparts  Před 4 měsíci +1

      You would need our splitter to run the 12v outlet and the light kit together. The OEM heated grips have dedicated connectors on the bike. Thanks

    Hello guys. Thank you for your video, it's very useful. Question: I can see the engine error light on the top left corner of the screen within the first seconds of the video, when you're showing the brightness of the lights outside. I believe it comes up because the CANbus spots an additional device/circuit. I also believe you have sorted it out and got ride of the error. Did you have to plug the bike to a diagnostic device and erase it or was it just an intermittent error that went away automatically? Or am I completely wrong? (That's very possible too) Thanks again!

    • @3dcycleparts
      @3dcycleparts  Před 7 měsíci

      The lights do not cause any check engine lights to come on. We were developing 6-8 products at once and something else we did had triggered the light and I didn't realize it was on until editing the video. Thanks

      It’s specific to the US version of the bike that has two acc sockets, the first is under the front dash and the second is under the seat. But only one of the sockets can be used a time, the other socket has to be shortened.
      The EU version of the bike has only one acc socket that is under the front dash, it doesn’t need any shortening.
