I have a Siberian Husky and he patrols the fence in our backyard every morning. It's cute to watch him act so protective but he's the biggest baby if he ever found an intruder lol😂

Sherpa has become a homeowner, lounging in the back yard, wandering around the property lines, and just being "Lord of the manor". All that fuss just to go for a stroll in the rain, and he could do the exact same at home, I can see it in his eyes, lol.

My dog doesn't like going out if it's raining hard. I open the door he looks at me and says you go out I'll wait here and stay warm. If it is slightly raining he'll go out but if a big drop lands on his back he heads back inside so I do have a doggy raincoat for him and he'll stay out longer 😆.
HiJamie. Pretty please get Sherpy’s claws clipped and paw pads shaves out. His claws are slipping on the concrete now, plus with all his massive fluff in his pads, it makes it even harder for him to get up. We had to do this a lot with my Sister-in-law’s huskies (Bart lived to be 14, and after him, Smokey, a beautiful red husky, almost to 14!). Keeping their claws trimmed helps their joints as well, as they don’t have to adjust their gait or stance to avoid the pressure of their claws pushing back on their digits.
Sorry for preaching. I love Sherpy, and want to see him comfortable. Long experience with huskies teaches a thing or three 😊. You are a phenomenal Dad to Sherpy and he loves you so very much. All animals should be so lucky ❤. Much love from Northern Illinois, USA.

It is very dry here too.The ground is very dry and we have not enough drinkingwater and it is warm, 30 Celcius😢. Praying hard for rain, for Oklahoma and for us.❤❤❤

I’ve had many rescue dogs in my life. My rescues have always gone from an attitude of “oh thank you thank you. I love you. I’ll do anything for you” Over the years to “I rule the house, and you are my servant. Please prepare two meals a day, and then I’m ready for my walk. No arguing”

I have a senior lab and he slips a lot when he’s tries to stand up and something I’ve recently found out that helps if shaving down the hair that grows in between their paw pads
He just did that a couple of weeks ago. It was in one of his videos 😊
Oh good, I honestly had no clue it was even something to do until a few weeks ago, and it’s made such a big difference when their poor hips get weak and they slip all the time

Nice he finally figured he can lay outside without getting wet. Love his yellow rain jacket. Still has to make sure you are safe at home. He just loves his new house plenty of room for Sherpa to sleep wherever he likes. Duck tape works wonder on almost everything. Dad I’m up you should be up

We finally got a little rain here in East Tennessee today but we need more. And the temperature is predicted to get hotter through the next 2 weeks. Hope you have a pleasant evening.
