    Only just found this guy... he is great! ...Succinct, factual, skilled and not an ounce of condescension!! He should be running a training school!!

    Excellent video Jim! Thanks. I have been practicing with removing burrs different ways and so far that brush method always seems to work the best for me.

    Double angle on inside. I dont know what that means. What would be really cool is if you could have a camera in the magnifier so we can see before, during and after. Im a visual learner. Thanks for sharing!👍

    One more question. You said we could run into problems over polishing the blade but never said what the problems are. Thank you for your time.

    How come I almost never see anyone using diamonds or CBN wheels? Especially with clipper blades. Has no one made them yet?

    Hi Jim. I haven't seen you using a Twice as sharp in your van. Are you just using your Kleen for sharpening now?

    Hello. I want to ask what is the stone made of and what do you use to flatten it? Thanks.

    • @JimSharpBlog
      @JimSharpBlog  Před rokem +1

      It’s a Shapton ceramic water stone. I use 600 grit side of an EZE-LAP 3x8 400/600 to flatten my stones on the fly. I also flatten them every week on a machined piece of granite with wet/dry 600 grit sandpaper.

    is it possible that the polishing process could round over or roll over the blade edge?

    • @JimSharpBlog
      @JimSharpBlog  Před 2 lety

      It could if you use too much pressure. When I polish the edge I’m doing so lightly. I also use a very firm pad.
