His older stuff is definitely more enjoyable to watch, but his newer stuff is still fun to watch too
I remember playing Time Killers in the arcade. I thought it was cool because of the dismemberment gimmick. But I was immediately decapitated and just thought it was a waste of quarters.
Ironically Capcom was impressed by this game and hired them to make Street Fighter the Movie the Game.
I like to think the 'mysterious lion' character is just Jackie Chan again.
There was a big Lion Dance/fight scene in "The Young Master".
I think Mysterious Lion is Jackie's true form and Jackie Chan is the disguise it wears.

Fun fact: the guy that played Raiden in the classic MK games was an actor in Tattoo Assassins, without Midway's permission. The penalty for breaking that contract is why Raiden had to bow out of MK3.
Shame companies are so anal about that just to keep some perceived edge.
Damn, And I was always pissed about no Raiden in MK3 and the shitty change to subzero.
Should have consulted the Midway Gods.
Mortal Kombat 3 sucked anyways. Scorpion couldn't even save it and it took until Ultimate 3 to even add him!

Timekillers doesn't look that bad compared to the other shit we've seen.
It's mindless fun. Also,it's VERY easy to cut-off limbs just while doing basic attacks...
You can still win even if you lose yours,too(I won with just legs,1 time)...
KrAzY game that I enjoyed very much when it was new(Our local mall arcade had a copy). It was like an easy version of MK that U /knew/ U could pull-off grisly kills,just by playing it(as opposed to trying to remember button-combos,like MK)...
As,I was never good at pulling-off MK moves/fatalities,I PREFERRED Time-Killers...
I was always jealous the Genesis had a port,since I had an SNES...
But now I can see they REALLY took away the fun of the Arcade,so I guess I wasn't missing-out,afterall...
Trust me, it's really bad, stick to Eternal Champions and World Heroes

Funny thing about the Time Killers Genesis port: the reason it came out so late in the Genesis's life and looked so bad, is because Sega shelved it three years earlier for being "too explicit". The original plan was that the port needed to work on both the Genesis *and* the -Megadrive- Master System, no graphics upgrades. Thus, you have an 8-bit fighting game released exclusively on a 16-bit console near the very end of its life-cycle. Go figure

I loved Time Killers in the arcade (vs mode). Nothing was quite as much fun as having your opponent cut off both your arms and still managing to kick them to death for an Armless Victory (or something like that).
I was so excited to finally get it on Genesis -- an excitement that disappeared almost as soon as I turned it on.

I'm not gonna lie, if they made a mortal kombat game where pressing enough buttons rapidly enough generated a fatality most closest based on the buttons you had pressed, I'd actually be highly impressed. I consider that a human feat of accomplishment.
