Finally!!!🎉🎉 I’ve been waiting for this one!!! Thank you for doing it! I’ve only seen it in the summer
Hamper is always funny to me, not only do we call it a picnic basket but a hamper is where we store our dirty clothes before washing them.
You two have ever looked younger or more gorgeous! Your laughter is the best when you're together, the most jovial and hearty of laughs, I just love it!!!
“Have we got richer?!” Hilarious. Love you two. Can’t believe it’s been 4 years. That’s when I started watching you both. 💞💞
Glad you went to Harrods! I was hoping you would…never been to England/UK but Harrods is a legend. Thanks for taking us!!
It's a hamper/picnic basket, no matter if it is empty or jammed full of stuff. I prefer it jammed full 😄
Gonna always love Joel with Lia. Entertaining.
Fun video reminds me when I used to go in all the upscale department stores in Philly. Sadly they're not there anymore, they were always so beautifully decorated.
I went to Harrods 16 years ago with my mom. While looking at shoes, the clerk asked me my size. I told her I couldn't afford them. She said, "But you can try them on for free. Every woman should at least try a pair on." Tried on a pair of Pradas and felt so indulged!
At least she was polite. Some clerks are rude if we are just looking
@@charlottecunningham2141 She was a doll!
I loved the food tour of Harrods. I look forward to your Christmas videos every year!
In Canada we call Hampers "Laundry Hamper" we would call the Harrods hamper a gift basket. 🎁 😀
You two are so cute how you get so excited for the letter bread. Adorable 🥰
You guys are coming up with some fun, creative ideas for videos. Good for you! I was wondering whether the two of you would consider visiting various seaside towns in Great Britain, so we can see what the locals do, what they eat, what the beaches look like, night life, etc.
Where are you from Fyodor
@@paulguise698, Miami, Florida! And you?
@@AlyoshaKaramazov. Whitehaven, Cumbria, England
A hamper is where I put my dirty laundry
I wish I was British. Everything looks so nice and clean and fancy over there. Maybe in my next life.
Used to be a Christmas tradition to fly in for a long weekend of shopping every year. Stayed up the street at the Park Tower. The food hall gives me life
Harrods, world famous luxury department store in London at Christmas time...and you guys head straight for the food! Too funny!
Doing some catch up video watching. I always love going to Harrods. I would have been all over the chocolates buying up those truffles and advent calendars. Have a great week guys.
The food did look awesome. A stunning store overall.
Now I want a snack - the candy looked sooooo good!!! The chocolate buildings were awesome!!
That was prilliant! You two are so fun to watch. This video came right when I needed a lift.
Yes! Been looking forward to another Harrods shopping experience video! Did not disappoint. Thanks!
How I love a Joel and Lia video. Especially a Harrods!! Thank you. Can't wait for more videos.
When I was in London years ago, I got close enough to take a picture of Harrods but didn't go inside. It had been a long day of walking around London and I just didn't feel up to walking around in a department store. Now I wish I had forced myself and ignore my backpain. Thanks for the tour. I will have to visit next time I make it over there.
Oooh, I saw lots of items I would love to buy, lol. Can't wait to see where we're going next! Thanks guys
I'm getting Marshall Field's in Chicago at Christmas vibes from this! RIP Marshall Fields. 😞
Gimbles and Strawbridge and Clovier in Philadelphia. RIP
I’m a flight attendant and we used to stay pretty close to Harrod’s for years. I used to go there all the time. That store is gorgeous. Totally too rich for my blood. But the Food Halls are a must!!❤
The 12 days of Christmas start on Christmas Day and aren't part of the Advent (Dec 1 - 24), so technically you could do both!
I love the tour of Harrods.
SO much fun!
So fun and cute together!
I wondered when you were going to get to Harrods and lo and behold, you didn't disappoint! Fun time, guys. Thanks.
Oh nice! Thanks for taking us with you!
I missed the both of your content. But yay 🤗
First!!! Unboxing chocolate and proper crackers from Harrods! Another timely video mates! Love it! Thanks! L&C 👍😘❤️🇬🇧
Merry Christmas to you Joel and Lia
When I went on vacation to London in 1984 we went to Harrods. I remember buying a top there
I remember treating myself to that little pink heart of champagne truffles in Heathrow's harrods before a connection...haha. theyre really good!
This video makes me so happy 🎉
That’s was fun, you must return..next stop Liberty London
That was such fun!
Manuka honey is made by bees that pollinate the flowers of the tea tree bush (leptospermum) which is found only in Australia and New Zealand. It contains very high levels of antibacterial compounds (MGO). The higher the MGO the greater the antibacterial effect. The Australian manuka has the highest level as it comes from a species of tea tree that is found only in Australia. Doctors in Australia use it to treat bacterial infections in cuts and wounds when they don't respond to antibiotics.
“An American “ was surprised to learn that they celebrate New Year’s in England. Oh come on❣️
That little pink teapot with cup was lovely , right up my street , Don't mention white 🍫 chocolate and those Pralines oh my favourites , Great vlog , Merry Christmas 🌲
Such a beautiful store, thanks for the tour! And I’m just like you guys, I would go straight for the food hall! Although I think I would pass on the “Wookie Hole” cheese … 😂😂😂 Much love. ❤❤❤
If something tastes great or smells great, oh yeah I will remember it forever 😀
Thanks for taking us along. Why not even the little chocolate box? It would fit on your pocket since you said you had more places to go. 🙂
Beautiful store!
We have a store near where I live, in California, called World Market, used to be called Cost Plus. It's a chain store, and not a fancy department store at all, but it has tons of trinkety, Christmasy, foods and decorations. I get the same feeling when I go there. I would be uncomfortable in such a fancy place like your Harrods.
Hello Legends! Happy Sunday.
I would love some of that chocolate!
I would live to shop at Harrods at Christmas 🎄 it looks amazing !!
"Miss you Joel and Lia together (vlog).....This was so much fun!!!! Merry Christmas!!!! Joel and Lia and to all your significant other's and family/friend's." This vlog reminds me of when I go shopping with my Str8 friend, in downtown Raleigh, NC (US).
Should be fun!
happy holidays
Lia you should collect old English teapots. It would be a great hobby for you.
So great seeing you two! Merry Christmas from Texas! I am drinking my iced tea while watching you in San Antonio! Long time follower (since you had been in Texas). I think London is known for being arrogant in the "posh" shops. Maybe I just don't go in, in the US. We tell them " my money is just as green".
I was just in Harrods this past weekend and yes every luxury boutique there i felt I couldn’t go in. The jewelry section on the first floor did have roped off entrance, guess you have to look the part.
an idea: have lia come up to Yorkshire and do castle howard for those two brits
Oh yes!!!
I love seeing both of you! To tell the truth, I'm a bit shocked at how underwhelming the Christmas decor is at Harrod's. Perhaps the sheiks who own it don't quite understand Christmas decorations. In the old days, a world-famous high-end department store such as Harrod's would have Christmas decorations and twinkle lights in every single department. Often there would be different themes in each different department. *SIGH* Just like Joel, I always enjoy the food section and am not impressed by the designer brand departments. xxxx oooo From Chicago USA where Mr. Selfridge made his first fortune.
Hiya Joel and Lia, I've never been to Harrods, but it was nice to see on the inside, I cant believe what they charged or the chocolate cake £5,000, if I go back to London I will go to Fortnum and Mason and Harrods, but I don't think I'll be buying anything, when you move to Keegans don't forget to take your Recipes I written out for you, this is Choppy in Whitehaven, Cumbria, England
loved that video! we really don't have that experience in the US (some try-hards, though, but they always miss) . Not an anglophile and not bougie, but one must give credit where credit is due. Good work, Harrods.
Ugh, now I'm craving good chocolate like crazy.....
I start my day with wild mushrooms brie and a warm croissant ... from Trader Joe's.
food areas always follow the same pattern in the basement or lower levels, near the roof, or somewhere in the middle near a outdoors area. Harrods has their food in the basement levels. japan likes the outdoors areas so the level under the roof or on the roof sometimes the basement. just how its done.
You too are funny together
Lia's biological clock is ticking because the Peter Rabbit chocolates triggered her! LOL. If my boys were young again, those chocolates would be in their Easter baskets!
That was my thought as well
I have no recollection of my first visit to Harrods but I know I bought food. 😂 The only department that truly matters.
❤
J&L Christmas videos have arrived! 🥳🎄

It's always "home" to see you two together. I love seeing London and all the places you are traveling for the channel. I feel I am touring the UK 🇬🇧! So carry on then, carry on!
To put it in British terms, if you ask me, the reason going into an expensive posh department store feels the way it does is because the people workng there always seem to be snobby toffee-nosed people who think they are better than anyone who doesn't at least look like they have money. They think their status in society is elevated because they get to interact with rich people. I am always so envious of all the cheeses you can get in the UK and Europe because it's a small fortune to get real cheese in the US other than cheddar unless some dairy farmer happens to make some approximation of a European cheese that they sell locally. That Peter Rabbit chocolate bar would cost about $10.00 in the US.
Did you go back to get a few things for Christmas? They had a ton of really nice things in there.
It's not only new years all over the world, but America is one of the last places for it to be the new year ever year 😅.
I was just wanting good chocolate (after eating Hershey's kisses) and you panned over the chocolate
Wookey hole cheese....like the caves in the south west of england!
1:27 reminds me of Pretty Woman ha ha XD
It’s odd, I never feel intimidated in a luxury store, but my husband does a bit. I explained they are humans too. Just doing their job, and work off commission. I worked at Neiman Marcus in the couture area, and we were “sever shopped” (meaning, we were graded on different levels of our customer service) grounds of termination if you received below a 92.
Fun vlog, and great to see both of you with your lovely smiles and laughter.
You're lucky if you never encountered the "uppity snobbish shop employee" type.
@@jwb52z9 well I will consider myself lucky, then. Never had the feeling that I was looked down upon. I am a consumer and upscale stores want my money. Equal playing field.
@@michellewilliams8188of course they want your money, but some employees judge people on what they wear when shopping or are just looking
@@charlottecunningham2141 I will say that my first job was working at Neiman Marcus in the middle of the 90’s. Employees were told to never judge someone on how they are dressed. We were also secretly shopped to assure as an employee of a blue chip store that you offered the best customer service. If you scored lower than a 92, you could be fired. Everyone had to work on the sales floor from the beginning. A lady with dirty dungarees, and muddy boots came to the section (lingerie) that I worked in before moving to a couture designer. In 30 minutes, she bought over 8,000.00 of underpinnings. She was kind, but a bit demanding as she was in a hurry. Turns out as I rang her up in conversation she was a breeder in Louisville.
My opinion, you enter blue chip store be confident, and employees know not everyone can buy luxury goods. Employees understand, and if they are properly trained, they should be as pleasant to you, as someone that is a frequent client.
I did notice when I was there in 2019 that there was a men's room near the lingerie department, but not a women's room.
The 12 days of Christmas start after Christmas till Epiphany. Joel felt so bad after bringing up the marmalade. 😪
Nobody knows about the 12 days of Christmas anymore!!! Thanks for bringing it up. Merry Christmas 🤶
I went to Harrod's once. I didn't have nearly as much fun. I think I was doing it wrong.
Beatrix Potter ♡
It says the highest quality is 720p ,
What camera you guys using.
That intro was actually really sad, i feel bad for Lia 😞😭😭😭
Wish you had stopped at the ice cream shop
Those are Mac a Rhons not Macaroons. Macaroons are coconut cookies.
Why you not show the Christmas decor in the windows?
People that work in luxury have some nerve being hoity toity with customers considering the majority of them couldn’t afford the luxury items they’re peddling
I know a hamper as what u put ur dirty clothes in lol 😆
You said chocolate like 20 times.
Seems the economic crisis in the UK has even affected video resolution quality and doesn't allow for uploads higher than 720p...
🤨
@@charlottecunningham2141 That was obviously sarcasm, but I wonder why they were too lazy to record or upload in better quality. The higher the resolution and frame rate the more enjoyable it is, especially if the content is about the visual experience.
@@charlottecunningham2141 720p is unacceptable in this time and age
that honey isn't really all that different just its spun at a higher rate to create that texture. you can take any honey and spin it much faster until sugar crystals start to form then its drained off to make a spreadable honey. i prefer orange blossom honey myself as i live in an orange growing area so its readily available also wildflower honey is different as you don't know its exact origin but usually bees are pollenating crops and that turns into honey then its labeled as wildflower honey but its usually some fruit crops or field crops.
Stinking Bishop!!
I'd never buy it here in the USA because nobody could sell it as it's a cheese made from unpasteurized milk.
But if your girl kisses you the next day then make her your wife.
[honestly, only gold diggers could ever shop there.]
You have loved yourselves over the place. Too much of you faces! Not a good tour video 😢
Just found your channel. How interesting. I’m a Brit in the US. YOU 2 friends? Couple? Brother sister? Let me watch a few more videos before I subscribe. 🫶🏼🎄
Should be fun!
