This Is What I Do To Get Aikido Wrist Locks Against Striking

We made it to part IV of this series. For this week's Technique Tuesday, Sensei/Guro JD goes over the five different wrist locks in combination with various destructions. These are all performed from a jab/cross scenario. The jab/cross is a staple when it comes to standard striking styles such as boxing, kickboxing, and even MMA.

@1:21. Sir You are so correct. I tell my students the same thing with respect to how a hubud lubud drill may be utilized in combat. You will see the opportunity present itself, and that is where you can go into "drill mode".

I have worked on using hubud with aikido entries. You can also use hubud for irimi nage applications. Enjoy your videos..
