And i dont think its people being offended by the bird as much as it is the fact that when you play in the SEC and on a stage that big, youre expected to be a big boy. He will surely be transferred or kicked off now though.. Ole Miss and the SEC wont let that pass.

That's what I don't get. If he puts on for his city, why does he shoot his team out of so many games? If he cared about his city, don't you think he'd choose to be a smarter player? Do they care about shows or do they care about wins?

It's totally appropriate, but EVERY Duke player (especiallly Redick) has had worse stuff yelled at him (Maryland yelled "F*** you JJ when he was at the line and a guy had a sign that said "I f***** your sister). Think Ray Lewis was never called any names?
It's still all very uncalled for, but that's part of being an athlete on the big stage.

Saw this class act when I was a freshman and he was at Utah. I don't often wish injuries (never do!!) upon a player but I wouldn't bat an eye if he broke his leg and could never play again. He doesn't deserve to grace us diehard fans with his presence during one of the most awesome sporting events in the world. He is the definition of a douche
