I’ve massively scaled back my skin care and make up and now I can’t live without the Summer Fridays Butter Lip Balm, in the vanilla shade which is similar to the Laniege chocolate one for a tint, perfectly suits my complexion!

My favourite beauty discoveries of 2023 are definitely the BPerfect Glow Boost Tanning Gel Drops, Collection Cream Bronzer, Elf Stay All Night Setting Spray and the Vieve Modern Matte Lipsticks (I have never worn a lipstick with better staying power!) Loved this video and can still see how genuinely passionate you are about beauty which makes your videos such a delight to watch! ❤

Lovely to see a new video from you, I totally agree with the love for the BB L’Oréal I use this everyday no2, and it’s affordable. I have recently found that I love a cream blush as I continue into my 50s it’s the Bobby brown cream blush, really like it bought as a set with mascara which I really like. Try Aquaphore in the jar and not tube, it is the best thing for dry lips and any other dry areas, my Derm told me that it is the only lip balm that is designed to put moisture in the lips and not deplete it.

I’ve had terrible dry lips this year (was on roaccutane which was the biggest reason) and ended up with angular chelitis a few times which is so painful! Since coming off roaccutane my lips are still so dry, been using the laniege mini lip balms and love them! X

The best lip balm I've found and gave been using since 1986 is Oriflame tender balm. Cheap but wonderful (about £5 a pot). They've changed the formula in the last year and I'm praying they haven't ruined it!
I have had the worst dry chapped lips the past few months (never had before as bad as this) and I recently tried the o’keeffes lip repair overnight lip balm and I can’t rave about it enough!! Highly recommend if you’re struggling - a lot cheaper than la mer I’m sure 🤣 it’s completely got my lips back to normal and not chapped at all xx
Hi @fleur ! Did you try any of the Caliray products in 2023? Not sure if they are sold in the UK but they were my TOP discovery this past year: the foundation is the best dupe for Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua and the mascara is excellent as well!

My favourite discovery is a hair product called 4long hair by Oceanic, it saved my hair. I have the shampoo and the hair serum, my hair now is 50% less falling, baby hairs are growing, starts to bounce. These results after one month of using it. I love it

I got the mini Laneige lip mark set from cult beauty and they are all lovely
Loved this! Can’t wait to try a few of them. Had the same issues post partum with my second (why are boys so bad for hair loss?!)😅 and what really helped me was German silicia silica tablets. Amazing for regrowth and hair strength. For dry lips my favourite affordable balm is Dermal therapy lip balm with Manuka honey it’s insane and so affordable. Use it at night too. Better than La Mer for sure.

I have the Dr Vranjes perfume, it’s amazing! I also have the other two Victoria Beckham perfumes, but not the blue one. It sounds really nice though 😊

Fleur, you'd never know that you're having trouble with your hair it's so gorgeous. Ive struggled with those baby hairs for years now, hormone changes with menopause I think. Some have now grown to about 2 inches but my parting looks like someone's rubbed a baloon on my head 😖😆, I'm at the end of my tether with them. Your make up looks lovely x
Love this! Does it matter if you’re ‘dependent’ on lip balm?! I use EA 8 hour intensive lip repair having been on roaccutane (10+ years ago!) and still cannot do without it, have done same as you and bought when out and without! Will be trying that YSL lippy! 💄

Love your videos as usual! What's your take on cleaner beauty products? I'd be curious if you have tried some and what you think of it. I love my beauty products and make up, but the older I get the more I'm looking at cleaner products I find as my skin is not as good as it was in my 20s..
I have a similar issue with my lips and one of the things that can worsen this (apart from weather and other obvious reasons) is iron deficiency.

I was thinking how good your hair looked in this vid.
My hair is always better if I use elastisizer religiously and a good hair oil before I heat style. I’m using Charlotte Mensa atm which I got from Libertys. I think it is meant for Afro Caribbean hair but my lord of fairly fine hair that’s a bit wavy and highlighted loves it. Plus it smells divine. I use matrix shampoo and conditioner for coloured or damaged hair

I like the Nuxe honey dream lip balm in a pot. It costs about 10€ a pot and I put it on my lips every night all year long and sometimes during the day too. I use lip scrub a couple of times a week and my lips are in pretty great condition.
Is the biggest shade in the VB palette a taupe grey? Ive been looking for a beigy grey forever!!

My own favourite discovery of 2023 was the Better Than Sex Chocolate mascara. As someone that is very pale struggle to find good dark brown mascaras for light make up days, which I find more flattering than black ones. This is definitely the best one I’ve used. For a long time. I’m going to have to give the Shiseido eye masks a try. They sound perfect for when my eyes need a post night shift boost.
Love a brown mascara. Can’t understand why they don’t make more of them, the browns are often OOS in shops

@fleur be careful with the kerasilk products, I used the shampoo and conditioner after doing the kerasilk treatment and it stripped the toner out of my hair and it went super Brady. I stopped using it and tried it on my 7 year olds curly hair as I thought it would be nourishing for her natural hair. And it turned her naturally blond hair Brady.
Is anyone able to tell me if either of the mascaras are tubing please? I’m not sure how to tell from the description. Thanks.
