This guy deserves much more credit and fame ive tried to play gta 5 for two years and it has been just crashing all over again.... Even right before i complete missions it crashes and i have to play the mission again and hope for no crashes. Ive also spent hours watching videos that supposebly "fixes the problem" and this is the first one that works thanks!!!

What if I have I scratched disc but installed it back when it was working well , will it still work as a installed game even if the disc is in the worst condition?
Late but yes. I had a really scratched up game disc, for a game that I fully installed long ago and it worked perfectly, while it would mess up if not installed. Basically once installed, it justs checks to see you actually own the game, and after that it loads everything from the HDD.
Mid way installation the disk is still unreliable and stops installing im retrying at the moment if I succeed to 100% ill let you know theirs still hope !
@@doobiescoo Faster load times on most games, your xbox 360 is like 90% quieter because the disc is installed and is no longer using the noisy optical spinning drive to read the disc, and less heat. And if your disc gets too scratched you can borrow a friends working disc, install it, then give it back him, then use your disc scratched disc to by pass the " ownership " check (you must have a disc to prove you onw the game) and play your game like new.
NOTE even though that most 460 games will get a load improvemetn (and less texture/object pop in and even a performance boost but it varies by game) There is some that is designed to better run on disk then drive LIKE halo 3 and gta 5 for example BUT they still work on hdd.
So i have installed a disc on to the harddrive as shown, then go to my games and go to play it buy it says put the disc in??? Thought the idea was to load all the discs on the HD to save putting discs in??
