With so much greed in society, how can we expect honesty and integrity from politicians, industrialists, businessmen and bureaucracy and anyone who is even remotely connected with a powerful person.
In addition we suffer from identify crisis. Anyone who is holding power of any sort wants to be treated like a king. And the public treats them as kings and queens.
Ethics is the word good only in books.

No one can deny it.But where is the solution, what common citizen will do?We have adopted a flawed system in the name of democracy since inception.All the political parties are the product of this system. Their the style of befooling the people is only different.
Power of Money always work
People of India won't hold political class accountable for any amount of corruption for now. For holding somebody accountable, they should first know how corruption is done beyond the conventional means of giving bribes. But in a country where financial literacy is so low that not many (including the educated) don't understand even the basic terms related to finance and economy, it's very hard to gather a popular opinion against the diversion of funds.

I had previously said CM Fadnavis saheb was dethroned and ordered to become Dy Chief Minister with Shinde saheb as CM by Delhi because Devendra Fadnavis sahib was actually governing Maharashtra well and had become a serious Delhi PM post contender like Yogi Adityanath. Modi still has many productive years ahead of him so such contenders can create ripples in the power structure as of now. The reason BJP has allowed NCP to enter the fray is to completely destabilise Maharashtra so that Mumbai can be carved out once the destabilisation becomes plainly visible to the ordinary Maharashtra manus. They have already finished Thakeray saheb and Pawar saheb, next they will finish off Ajit Pawar saheb by making him CM in sometime which will destabilise Maharashtra further and Eknath Shinde saheb is no grass roots leader who forms any threat to Delhi. Now, Maharashtra Congress - what is that? Mumbai will then be closely connected with Gujarat as it was pre 1st May 1960. This will become plainly visible within 5 years. Devendra Fadnavis sahib’s weakness is his list for power and he has made many miscalculations which has made his comeback very unlikely. He should have controlled his urge to become CM of India’s most powerful state money wise and waited for his moment.
Politics is all about keeping a transactional attitude, and cold calculation punctuated by irrational acts due to gollum like lust for power.
