You turned me on to TriState a couple of years ago and rarely miss a Live Stream, you never know what direction they’re gonna take but you’ll laugh for a couple of hours, the tristache looks great just wish it had a Lefty carry option, Thanks MC😎

S90V at 62 should not be an issue touching up, even on your granpa's old Arkansas stone. But considering we are closing in on 2025 most people will probably have a diamond plate or some Japanese whetstones.

I didn't order the stash because I cut left handed and I was worried about my palm disengaging the button lock while gripping the handle.
No left handed variant was available
I pre-ordered because I liked the design, the blade (S90V at 60+ with a hollow grind should be ridiculous, but we will see how it holds up), and the button actuated frame lock. Haven't seen that much.
I didn't realize it is so big. I saw 3 inch edge length and thought it would be what I typically buy.
That said, still looks like a very fun knife.
Do you think the two finger cutouts were intended to look like his mustache logo? TriState does seem crafty like that...🤔
I love how your review for his knife dropped on the same day as his review for yours lol. Both are sexy af, but Excalibur is the top dawg imo.
Love the design. Hopefully he puts out an XL version eventually. And a polished DLC coated blade would be nice. :)

I was wondering why there was the rampant name dropping of Tristate... then i watched the review done by Tristate of MC's knife and all became clear. lol yu guys crack me up sometimes.

Ditching the lanyard hole is fine, but I do like a small lanyard on my work knife which has been a hogue deka with carbon fiber scales from votix. It makes it easy to pull out of my pocket with gloves on.

Id love to get one but at the price point & being limited runs, I dont think I'll get around to it. Im not saying the Tristache is not worth $300 it just, they're other things that I have been waiting to purchase that I'm in no rush too getting because $300 is not a small drop in the bucket for me. With that being said, I love thy hollow grind! The Tristache is a B, E, A, -UTIFUL knife!!!

I like the design of this knife, but after your and Kev - Lefty both reviewed and came to the same conclusion that it kind of meh for a left hand person. This is a right hand knife. Being left handed I decided to pass to wait for a possible Left Hand version or something better from Kole.
I carry a handful of righties but when it comes to button locks it’s got to be a Lefty, the Golden Designs Caliber is a great left hand button lock and also a frame lock, be cool if Kole does a Lefty down the road 😎

Huh. I've been pretty against the button- operated- liner- lock thing. Seemed kinda pointless to me. And I'm not a huge frame-lock or liner-lock lover, at all. But this actually kinda makes sense. The nice thing about the frame lock is that it's definitely going to be stronger (as you said, assuming proper geometry, etc.) than a button lock, especially when you hammer-grip it, but you still get the functionality of a button- operated lock (and probably a better detent, but that's not high in my list of needs/ wants, personally) That's good thinking, though.
