While most things resonated, what I’m mostly crying about is the “let go of your beliefs” thing. My whole life I felt like I can’t be loved. That I’m unlovable. I tried hard to make myself un-believe it, I worked on myself, cut people off, prayed, gym, read. And then it comes. The moment. When I just know the belief is still there. It always has been. Deck 3, everything is spot on. I feel like I lost hope and developed a real cynical and like you said “bitterness” after my last and WORST relationship. For the first time in my life (even though I’ve always been in toxic relationships) I started to think that I am afraid and scared to love somebody again and dont really know if I’ll ever love again or be prepared for it or even want it!

Everything you described on how I'm feeling has been exactly it. There was a guy who I used to have class with and I would see him at my college's cafe because he was a barista there and I was head over heels for him, and I still am. He seemed to always flirt with me and was really sweet and shy and I once overheard him talking to a friend of his about how he liked me, wanting to get to know me, but didn't know how to. The only problem was that he was already in a relationship. I couldn't tell if they were close or anything, though, because some of his friends hadn't even known that he had a girlfriend, but after looking at his social media, he's definitely someone who posts about his relationships, so it just felt really weird... But he was a senior and our semester ended early, so I never got to end things with him the way I wanted like becoming his friend or anything. I know I should let him go, but I really felt like he was my soulmate. When I was four, for some reason, I was convinced that I would marry a guy with his name and looked exactly like him. Of course, I had a crush on him by coincidence, not because of his name or how he looked, but it definitely felt weird for it to have just ended if maybe the universe had some plan for me and him, I guess... It's weird, though, everything you said about the person who is coming toward me is a perfect description of him! He apparently has a dream of seeing the world, and he's really outdoorsy and was part of the Outdoors Club. He also lived in Austria for a year or something, but he's not necessarily from a faraway place. I'd say I am. I'm going to school on the East Coast but I'm originally from the West Coast. I recently had the epiphany that I get scared about things miserably failing when they're working out.
