It's strange but I can't help feeling that Freddie Mercury might have heard his song arranged like this, in his head- for cello & strings.. even when he was WRITING it!! Perhaps it's because this arrangement echoes the close harmonies of the voices. Whatever it is, it really works superbly.. it's like listening to a Borodin or Dvorak quartet!! Bravo!!!

Esa melodía también me trae varios recuerdos bellos: El primero es que me remonta a cuando de niña escuchaba esa pieza musical en la radio, y que me hipnotizaba su armonía tan hermosa y elaborada, y tan poco frecuente en la música Pop Rock y también en otros géneros musicales; y me ponía a "tararearla" (porque admito, no sabía nada de inglés. Y aún hoy sé poco. Así que por ello sólo puse atención a su melodía y armonía). El segundo recuerdo es, cuando ya estando estudiando música clásica --de adolescente, formamos un quinteto con mis amig@s, estudiantes tod@s de diversos instrumentos (yo al violonchelo🎻), y nos poníamos a tocar música rock o pop rock en nuestros tiempos libres, y para divertirnos un rato. Y esta pieza musical era de nuestras preferidas. Y el tercer recuerdo que me viene a mi memoria, es cuando hace unos 5 años (antes de enfermar), canté como integrante de un grupo coral clásico 🗣️🗣️🗣️🎙️🎹🎻 (pero donde de repente también cantábamos piezas musicales de otros géneros, como éste del famoso grupo Queen), está melodía de Rapsodia Bohemia, y donde por fin logré mi sueño de interpretarla alguna vez en mi vida (aunque ahora sí supe lo que decía la letra, y no me agradó mucho.😁😅 Pero bueno, lo importante era la música en sí💕🎶🎵💕, con una melodía y armonía muy conjugada, y grandiosa y bella dentro de su género musical).

They are also the reason I enjoy music, after I had started to question if all music was the same bland stuff, I only really half enjoyed! Also, as someone who has only been to one concert in their life so far, I really hope you get to see 2cellos live at some point!! Seeing them on stage was one of the greatest things I've ever experienced, and DEFINITELY the best Christmas gift I've ever received!!!!
6 years ago i've seen the Thunderstruck video and was so inspired, that i started to learn cello immediately! 2017 i was on the 2cellos concert in Cologne. It was totally amazing. This year in may i'll be in Dortmund to see Luka! I'm so exited! I wish you much fun playing the cello. I'm 53 years old and it's never to late to learn something new and beeing inspired by such amazing musicians! All the best for you and greetings from Germany 🎻🎻🤗

Since last year my older student cellist/music son is performing this piece (with some arrengements) on the youth orquestra as a resident cellist... BUT now WOW, my other child, the princess, also student cellist/music BUT much younger than my son, is already doing it... she conquer her place in the orquestra!!! There is no words for a mother than see her 2 children playing and practing cello, with a big difference of age, at the orquestra... and they have being active on performing... That's why that people like Luka, Stjepan and others musicians inspire a lot of young people to play music... and that's a privilege! Music is the same language all over the world and that keeps us together and in harmonie... a hope, a desire, a strong feeling that the future is going to be better... a proud mother! Love and kisses
