    When did they get rid of citations and make everything, no matter how small, an arrestable offense?

  • @Richardrefund
    @Richardrefund Před 7 měsíci +4

    From my experience, the payoffs or settlement amount does not come the taxpayers, it comes from the agents indemnity insurance. All public officials must carry indemnity insurance or forfeit their office. Too many more settlements, guess what happens? Their premiums go sky high, or maybe loose their insurance all together! That is the power of the People making a difference, one policy at a time.

    • @marvinkline5667
      @marvinkline5667 Před 7 měsíci

      Who pays the insurance bills? Who pays for that indemnity clause? Where do police departments or any governmental agency get their budget from? How is that not taxpayers money putting the bill? I'll wait......

    • @Richardrefund
      @Richardrefund Před 7 měsíci

      @@marvinkline5667 I do get your point. The taxpayers do foot a portion of the insurance premium payments. But it is usually the insurance agency that forks over the large settlements or jury awards. That was my main point. Public agents are subjects of the Insurance industry.

    Do you think you could violently assault someone and get away with your boss saying take a couple of days off without pay (I'll make it up with some overtime later) but we need to let this crap blow over for a few days and act like we give a damn what the public thinks.... No No don't worry about any criminal charges... Maybe you can use the days off to study for the LT's exam!

    It starts with the Supreme Court.
    They could definitely do more to help out We The People.
    But they rather help out Law Enforcement and make their lives easier.
    Lichen States were Qualified Immunity no longer applies, they could pass laws that state the Police must be held personally responsible, like We The People would be.
    Or require Police to carry their own Personal Liability Insurance, like doctors do.

    This one’s on it’s way to the 7th Circuit at the least.

    These cops don't care if you sue them because it doesn't bring any hardship on them. They get paid to violate your Rights, paid to go to depositions, paid to sit in court and when they lose they don't have to pay anything themselves, the taxpayers do.
    This shouldn't be legal.
    No-one should be exempted from having to pay for their actions.
