99.9% of all gear is garbage for everyone except the newest players. It doesn't matter how the gear is obtained. So these legendary gypsum casts never really stood a chance of being worth it. Hopefully the gear rework makes more gear viable and then maybe stuff like this will be worth it.
With around 4500 hrs playing NW, I managed to get 2 pieces of Lego armor I actually use out of the castes. Ya, the castes are pooh. All these events and changes aren't really ment for us long term players who have made/bought or collected everything all ready. They are ment for new players to catch up at different intervals of the game. I did nothing during the Spriggen event except collect blooms for the patterns. I have over 1k, which really isn't much with how easy they made it to collect blooms, I am just sitting on them till the armor reset. The armor reset is where the long term players are going to be really involved again to collect and craft new armor. It's just crazy to buy or craft any armor or even weapons till the reset comes out. I did make an Ultimate Combat Trophy. I think they are worth it. I'll make two more eventually, no rush. Putting 6 combat trophies into one means no more swapping for dungeons and always ready when out and about in NW. So I'll have a combat trophy with the luck one and three gathering trophies up all the time. I can just forget about them now. I rarely ever used the harvesting trophy so it's out of the mix, ;). It's gamble. I got Amulet for my class that has Slash Prot / Stam Recov / Health. Which is 1000% BIS. If you have gypsum and umbral shards to waste on, then use it.
so many split attributes stats items :D from Lego Gyps Casts instead full int/foc/con/str etc. Anyway ultra trash for 1000 Shards which even dont sell for 500g.
ok so question for the legendary gypsum casts do they drop based on you expertise still or is it a guaranteed gear score I'm assuming expertise like normal but I'm not sure

Gear is being wiped in a few months....there is no point in doing anything gear related right now.

good video, i tried one the 1st day but the item was garbage, i instantly said i wont bother again due to the cost of them

Alot of people are saying the same, quick question: would the fact the expansion could be FREE or say 20-30 would that stop you coming back for it?

yeah, it seems to only be for pve'ers, with heaps of shards, they can gamble roll for leg itzems that way now
i think those don't get squished if you are not expertise 600, so kind of good for new player.
would this increase your expertise too or would it be better to do the regular cast for that?

Do these increase expertise as well? Same amount or more than a normal orb cast?
yes work the same with expertise bumps however its 1 cast compared to 5 normal ones so less bumps

Can’t say for sure, but legendary gear is 600gs so shouldn’t be affected.
The new legendary casts drop at 600gs the old obes drop on the items expertise level you have (always giving you a 1-9 bump in expertise)
First few I crafted they were trash so I decent wasn't worth the shards
