he reduced the chunk, minecraft registered that the whole portal was full. 1-1 so 2 ender pearls inserted. And then put it back once it teleported him there

Set seed, with the end portal having complete 12 eyes of ender already inserted in the bumhole
there is a very low chance of a world already having a completed end portal

@@themangobui1474 for 1 eye to spawn its 10% so usually they have 0-3 eyes, but its like 0.1^12 chance to get 12 or 1 in a trillion

Can someone explain the vine portal thing? He placed the vine under the ender portal and it somehow turned it on. Is that a glitch from a specific version?
no, he placed it there not to take lava damage.

@@gepic922 Yeah, remember that end portal blocks are only textured from the top, so it is invisible in the video.
I can’t remember if this seed had all the eyes in the portal frame but I think sometimes the portals can spawn bugged so like only a few of the 9 “portal blocks” are there

Just... why? Like it's cool to see someone hit a record. But when there's really no randomness to a speedrun, it's just boring.
you do know most speedruns are "set seed" right? very few games have the rng element of seeds like minecraft
@BlehBleh not in the same way minecraft is though. Minecraft you can literally mine for a seed that allows you to get to the end in seconds. The only RNG element left is how fast the dragon perches, and maybe human misinputs. Other games at least require you to play through the whole game (talking about glitchless runs here). I'm saying Minecraft specifically is really boring to watch when there's nothing TO watch.
its about improving mechanics and its extremely hard to get consistent in ssg, you have to consistently get close to your end enter pb and hope for a perch because the perch is so rare

@raphaeld4313 brother I don't think you understand what I was saying. This is a SET seed. As in a seed that was found to be a god seed before. You picked the words out in your quote.
A set seed speedrund means you found it online to be a godseed and ran it over and over until you were better than the others.
