[Guadeloupe] Déboulé Liyannaj Kont Pwofitasyon (LKP) - 30 janvier 2009

A massive social strike started in Guadeloupe (Caribbean island) on January 20th. 49 organizations got together and created "Liyannaj Kont Pwofitasyon" in order the represent the People during negotiations with the French government and local corporate leaders. The economy in Guadeloupe has been unbearable since the Euro replaced the French Franc. That day, more than 65 000 people marched behind leaders from "Liyannaj Kont Pwofitasyon" (Elie Domota, Jean-Marie Normertin, Felix Flémin among others)
