My first hoi4 playthrough was a pretty unforgettable experience. I started as Nazi Germany but ignored the east and attacked the Benelux countries and France instead. It went really well until Republican Spain won the Spanish civil war, joined the allies, and invaded southern France with UK and free French support. This did not go well for me. Long story short they take out Italy stupidly fast and invade Germany through Austria and France. Eventually I lose a vastly shorter then expected WW2. BUT THEN, to my surprise, I didn’t “lose” the game. I was now the Republic of Germany! Some more time passes and lo and behold USSR invades Poland. I felt bad about being a jerk the year before and ask to join the allies. For the next like 4 years I find myself invading the USSR as Germany alongside the UK, the US, and Poland! It was seriously awesome.

What I love most about this song is how the timing usually fits perfectly with starting a new game, the start of game bell toll (which is my favourite sound in the entire game) kicks in just as the intro finishes around the 40s mark. Then usually, depending how much thinking and decision making you are doing at the start of the game, hitting the play button for the first time usually happens just as the song picks up again at around 3.20, great timing, great track, great game!

Music brings people together, like many young guys who play video games have now gathered here to listen this beatiful piece of art and enjoying. I bet many of us would not usually listen classical. Also in this video you can see how everyone is enjoying playing this as well all of who are watching this! This brings up so many emotions.
