- So this was very weird for me to film because I'm an awkward bean who doesn't know how to talk lol. But I'm so incredibly proud of myself for coming out on the Asexual Spectrum and as Non- Binary. I want to be someone that these two communities see as good representation. I will be talking more about the asexual spectrum and non-binary spectrum in later videos so look out of that!

Crushing on your friends is awkward but still good. I hate how people see the friendzone in a negative way. For me, friendship is also a goal and it may even lead somewhere for demis.
As an aroace, I literally have to HOPE everyone of my friends see me as a friend and as a friend ONLY…. Unfortunately that hasn’t always been the case

Dang, can't imagine how tough it must be to have all that going on ánd be in the LDS. I grew up in a very accepting environment and I had a really really hard time coping with being ace and nb. So yeah, I definitely think you deserve to be proud of yourself.

I grew up in a religious home too, and for a long time I just thought I was a lesbian. Now I think I identify as some type of variant on the asexual spectrum, because I sometimes have that attraction to someone on a show, but not in real life, lol. 😂
If you’re interested in looking into it, that sounds like the fictosexual/fictoromantic or aegosexual/aegoromantic parts of the aro/ace specs :)

Hi Lynn Saga! I admit that I have quite a hard time understanding the non-binary concept. Do you have gender dysphoria? Do you really hate your body because of your biological sex or did you only have a problem with your body changing? Are you bothered by pronouns? Why does your gender matter that much to you? Why couldn't you be a not so feminine woman? Don't you think that needing to identify as something is a little weird? Why couldn't we be just ourselves? I know, I ask a lot of questions, but I just want to understand your point of view.
i have no problem explaining a bit more!!! So I didn't go into everything because I am planning on making more videos about it but I'll answer your questions here. i do experience social and body dysphoria. I am planning on doing things about that but that will go into my personal medical history which I don't think I'll be talking about on this channel (this might change in the future but I'm not going to talk about that rn). I am bothered by she/her and he/him pronouns and go by they/them. I care very much about gender/gender topics because when I was younger I was told there were only two and I felt wrong and shame for having feelings otherwise. I can't be a "not so feminine woman" because when I tried to fit myself into that box I was very depressed/su****dal. I do agree that not everyone needs/wants lables and that is completely valid!!! I would never try to push the "everyone needs to be this or that" because that's just not ok to do to others. I think people just try to find words that help them find community and others who feel the same as them. I am all for everyone being who they are (as long as they aren't hurting other people). I hope that answers your questions!!

I know it probably doesn't matter to you but as a Christian ace enby, I want you to know God wouldn't hate you for being enby I know that thought process was in the past but believe me, anyone who told you this lie is toxic. Even though I'm pretty sure you're atheist, if I recall correctly, it still breaks my heart that there are people out there who are led to believe this... Again, since you don't believe in God probably, it's moot point but eh... Anyway, HUGE props for coming out so freely! I am thinking of doing so myself at some point.
Idk if I said I still believe in God or not in this video but I do still believe in a God just not in the way most people think and it’s definitely taken me a long time to come to terms with all the religious trauma I have. Thank you for this comment ❤️
