Seems like I've been listening to this song for 50 years. It never gets old!
“I remember Freddie coming in with loads of bits of paper from his dad’s work, like Post-it notes, and pounding on the piano,” May said in 2008. “He played the piano like most people play the drums. And this song he had was full of gaps where he explained that something operatic would happen here and so on. He’d worked out the harmonies in his head.” The best live version of BoRhap is Montreal 81.
All the Band members have incredible voices. Thanks Emma 🎉🎉🇨🇦
John?.
@@wesleyrodgers886HA ha same😉
@@wesleyrodgers886😅😅😉😉🙄
…Except John Deacon😁
Freddy can emphasis his voice to match the lyrics so perfect. RIP Freddie
Bohemian Rhapsody Green Day Concert. Crowd sings the song 40 years after it was released. 🔥
How can someone hear Bohemian Rhapsody for the first time in 2024. Especially someone from music world.
It truly baffles me
@@helenc1693 same
I thought the same thing.
It wasn't the 1st time she hears it the title clearly says 1st time reaction
This dong has been big since forever. It’s been sampled a hundred times
I bought "A Night at the Opera" almost 50 years ago. Of course, this song played on the radio all the time. I saw them live, in September 1980, before I ever saw this video once MTV came on the air in August 1981.
Bohemian Rhapsody is the Most Streamed Song of the 20 th Century
“He is the armless …legless …WONDER …of the 20th Century!”
The beginning is Freddie's layered voice harmonizing with himself.
Greatest frontman of all time!!!
Bohemian Rhapsody is an epic opera in one song .
The huge choir ( "bismillah" etc. ) was them singing a ton of overdubs in the studio. Saw them in the early 80's, in concert for that big choir part they just ran the tape, then performed the rest.
My childhood was so cool. All these cool bands and me just about to hit puberty. The 80's came in like a world wind of changes but Queen stayed the course and got better and better. Radio Ga Ga , movie soundtracks flash Gordon, quicksilver, highlander.
You will love the show must go on. Freddie acknowledged his sickness and insisted the Show must go on.
wasnt the record company mad at them" its way too long the radio stations wont play it"..? : decades later its still played on the radio, mostly in full lenght🤣
The rock part at the end was always my favorite but I love every second of this song 🔥❤️
This is a masterpiece. I wasn't a Queen fan growing up, but every time they were on the radio/MTV, I wouldn't tune into another station.
It's amazing isn't it? And it encapsulates everything about Queen - the beautiful music, the rocking, the voices, the sense of drama (and humour). Brilliant.
I never realized BR didn't have a chorus until someone pointed it out. The song is completely bombastic & theatrical and has passed the test of time.
Wasn't the first one like this, check out the March of the Black Queen
A Rock Opera as Freddie intended due to his love of Opera. Part one he kills a man. Part 2 he pleads for his life before Judges . Part 3 he is sent to the Devil
Great song. I've been a Queen fan for years. I remember hearing this song back in the Fall of 1975. I was a United States Marine stationed at Camp LeJeune, North Carolina.
This is Rock opera at its best
This track come from an album of 1975 which was entitled " A Night at the Opera". 🙂 The very high falsetto note was Roger Taylor, the drummer.
LiveAid is an amazing performance! A bit of everything!
Love how creative Bohemian Rhapsody is/was.... Multi songs in 1, who'd thought it would still be popular in 2024 after 49 years?! Incredible stuff!
I knew you would love this. Phenomenal as is the live.
They DID name the album “A Night At The Opera”
One of my favorite facts about Queen...Brian May is included in most lists of all-time greatest guitarists and he went on to earn a PhD in Astrophysics. Oh, and he was recently knighted by King Charles, so he is SIR Brian May.
All the guys are included in the lists of their respective instruments.
Sir Dr. Brian May
Accepting a knighthood was a disappointment; cultural conditioning runs deep.
@@thewonkyembouchure Politics escape me .....seems like a good thing - to be knighted by the queen ?
Fifty year anniversary of this beautiful song. I can remember watching the television in awe when I picked up a girl from my class to go to a school party and TopPop showed this video.
The opening part is actually Freddie singing in four ocarives mixed together
Think you meant to say octaves
Lmao ocarives
Lovely ❤emma there is nothing else like bohemian rhapsody.
You are mouthing the words like my dad use to do watching old westerns. It's really funny to watch. 🤣🤠😮
Little known fact, Brian May's guitar is homemade from a kit that he and his dad bought and put together when he was a teenager.
As Brian told it, it wasn't a kit. It was made from materials found around the house, like from their mantle over the fireplace. I believe the electronics may have been purchased.
Greatest song ever. Masterpice.
Known as the best song ever made in history. Says so in the Guinness book of world records
Meaningless.
Nonsense
Couldn't find that in the Guinness Book.
Wayne and Garth said so.
@@lipbyIt's true!
Roger Taylor's I'm in love with my car drum solo.
엠마는 너무 예뻐요 ~~리엑션 잘보고 갑니다~~~
Bohemian rhapsody best song all tine
It's the 5 stages of grief known as the Kubler-Ross model
Saw them at The Springfield Civic Center, Springfield Mass February '77. Thin Lizzy opened! To this day it's one of the best concerts I've ever seen!
I saw them in Chicago the year Thin Lizzy opened for them; great show.
The best song every created, by the best band every created, sang by the best voice ever created.
I have spoken
Truth👑🌈💙🫶
Their good but the best? Debatable
Oh man I just wrote basically the exact same comment before scrolling down. High five.

If you want more Queen like this, from the same album “The Prophet’s Song” is equally epic in a slightly different way. Another masterpiece.
THE most operatic song from their Night at the Opera album.
Definitely recommend Somebody to Love.
To hear another side of Freddie, check out Barcelona (which he wrote), his duet with opera singer Montserrat Caballé. That one will definitely give you goosebumps!
Somebody To Love is the sister song from A Day At The Races album - they are both amazing !
Those two albums were named after Marx Bros. films.
🇸🇪 here. The first time I saw Queen live was at the (RIP) Rainbow Theatre in London 1974. I was sixteen at the time and that concert was the first time I travelled abroad (from Sweden) just to watch a rock concert. Took a cheap inside shared cabin on the ferry from Denmark, slept at a really, really cheap hotel and loved every minute 😉😁👍.
Also Brian May was definitely one of the biggest reasons I started taking my guitar playing seriously.
The red guitar Brian mostly use has his own story.
Back when he took up playing more seriously at 16 (1963) he couldn’t afford a quality electric guitar - so he asked his father, an electric engineer, to help design and build his own guitar.
The project (wholly designed and built by them) took well over a year to accomplish and the result was ”the red special”, which has been his primary guitar ever since.
And of course one of my own electric guitars is a BMG Super, a recreation of the original "Old Lady" as accurately as possible and handmade in the Czech Republic for Brian's own guitar shop 😊.
Love to see you happy! This reaction gave my day a whole new outlook. ❤Queen❤
Love to see Emma anytime. She is just gorgeous!
In that first section all the harmonizing is just Freddie.
Awesome song!! Great reaction!!
I love Watching the reactions to the music we had back in the day! Yes, Grandma was that cool!😎
I really like Freddy with David Bowie, “Under Pressure”. One of my faves.
The greatest song ever made, by the greatest band to ever live, fronted by the best frontman who will ever live.
Queen are the GOAT as far as I'm concerned.
hahaha
Un piacere puro ascoltare i Tuoi commenti, con quel garbo, quella dolcezza innata che hai dentro di Te Emma. GRAZIE per tutto questo, sei fantastica
"like opera" cool, it was first released on the album "Queen a Night at the Opera", it was released again on "Queen Greatest Hits" and finally on the soundtrack to the movie "Wayne's World".
I love young queen, when they all had long hair and perfect voices.
I would like you to analyze a Brazilian song called "Águas de Março," especially the version sung by Tom Jobim and Elis Regina.
The song talks about the changes in life, using the period of March as a metaphor, which represents the end of summer and the rainy season in Brazil.
Emma, You are so cute. ^^ It's nice to hear this song after a long time
Thank you! 😄
The drummer, Roger Taylor had a higher voice than Freddie, Brian also had a good voice.
He also played a lot of keyboard and guitar parts in the studio. A wickedly talented guy.
It’s a rhapsody and it’s bohemian.
Good one, Emma! Yeah, Queen was the real deal, weren't they? Thanks for sharing this one. 🙂
Glad you enjoyed it!
....a milestone in music history...
Queen - Innuendo is a similarly epic song …very inspirational✨
I enjoyed watching you watch an enjoy the video. It's a classic from my youth and I'm glad you could enjoy it half a century later!
"Last Resort Reimagined" by Falling in Reverse the most emotional song ever, goosebumps everywhere ❤
Great reaction to a great song
It’s three songs that Freddy combined to make this masterpiece I can remember when it first came out
After hearing it for the first time I went and brought the album
QUEEN a band that marked my adolescence. There are some covers. A fun one is "Bohemian Catsody - A Rhapsody Parody Song for Every Cat Queen and King!". Freddie Mercury had several cats at the same time, which he adored.
Love at Wembley Saturday night 1986 watch it live bohemian rhapsody x
Nice Emma ....as always😊
One of the most complete songs ever. I love him. Queen has another similar song, Innuendo.
Masterpiece!!!
You could definitely listen to Queen's "Prophet's Song."
It's a little older than Bohemian Rhapsody, but some say the song is the "mother" of Bohemian Rhapsody, because of some similarities.
From the same album and was Brian's attempt at an epic piece. March of the Black Queen is regarded as a close relative of Bo Rhap in as far as it was a multi-part song without conventional structure and 26 years later Innuendo is considered the 'son' of Bo Rhap.
As good as this is and it’s a classic for me somebody to love is the greatest song Freddie wrote
Another great reaction by the beautiful Emma.😍🥰❤️💕
Freddie Mercury & Montserrat Caballé - "How Can I Go On" is a better example of their work together.
A clue to the composition style for this track can be taken from the title of the album it was released on: "A Night at the Opera". Sections of this song are like acts or scenes in an opera.
BTW, Emma, Brian May, the lead guitar player, is an extremely smart man. He has a degree in astrophysics.
And the reason for Freddie's tongue-in-cheek 'Galileo' reference in the song, as a tribute to his bandmate's seemingly primary 'raison de vivre'
Good morning, beautiful lady. Great song selection and reaction! Thank you.
Almost 50 years now, truly timeless...
Didnt mean to make you CRY. I love that bit. More than a hint of sarcasm one thinks
Great reaction and analysis Emma. BTW , you're so gorgeous ❤
Some of those harmonies are 9 part ... All done without auto - tune...
Great reaction. Freddie Mercury was a genius. Recommend Pentatonix’s a cappella version. Brian May loved it.
Great reaction!
THIS is my All Time Favourite Song for nearly 45 years. Masterpiece. Try my Forever Favourite Live Version from Live Killers 1979... Love It !!!
Certo che hai un tempismo perfetto, a fermare la musica nel momento meno adatto! Complimenti......
All of the opening voices are Freddie, despite how it’s filmed.
William Shatner does a killer version of this song.
First on site! Luv ya Miz Emma!
Now you need to react to The Muppets rendition of this song.
That song shot Queen to stardom.
This one song was a Musical.
Thanks for the reaction, beautiful!
No problem 😊
Need to check out the band ( Queensryche ) and their song ROAD TO MADDNESS.
Queen forever,,,,,❤❤
This is a beautiful woman
Great reaction, Emma!!! You are so lovely!!! ❤✌️🌹 I love you!!! ✌️❤️🌹
Elvis is King !
Please listen to the Pentatonix cover of Bohemian Rhapsody Rhapsody. It’s a cappella. Yes, it works.
Please, react to March of the Black Queen 😁✋
You need to watch bohemian rhapsody very good movie about him
Freddie does all the singing on this. All of it. ❤
Brian and Roger lent their vocals too; for example, the high falsetto in the mock operatic section was Roger's.
Welcome to the genre of Queen❤
Try "The prophet's song" next, same album 😉
