I was stuck where you need to pull out lamps and when I saw you struggling to take them out - I understood that I needed to use force. This resulted in successfully changing lights, thanks!
Brilliant video - quick and easy demo!
Great clear video.....exactly the level of detail required.
Awesome! I was afraid of giving the light cluster the firm tug it needed. Thanks to you I was able to do it
That’s great Gustaf! I’ve had the same recently on another car, until you see someone do it you’re absolutely convinced something will break. Well done 👍
Spot on…cheers matey
I was a bit stuck as I was trying to replace the dipped bulb without taking the light cluster completely out 😄….now I know 😊
Good job 👍
Thanks, great video, clear and concise
Thank you for sharing your knowledge. JAB from Western Australia 🇦🇺. 👍👍👍👍
That was the guide I was looking for
Very concise, thank you.
Perfect video mate cheers
Quick and easy. Thanks
Very good knowledge thanks 👍
Helped a lot, thanks!
Awesome help, what bulbs for the dip beam and bulb for the fog?
Fantastic a true pro. Thank you
You are a legend
Nice clear video. Polo sorted in 20 minutes both sides. Just need to sort out the Mazda6 now. Help!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks. Really helpful. Removing the cluster does require some force - easier on the side without the battery!
Handy. Only guide I’ve been able to find on how to get at the DRL on a 6c bluegt, which sits at the outer side of the assembly.
Hello again. Thanks again.
Thanks for this 👍🏻
Amazing video dude 🙌🏻 i have vw polo 2010 so i need 2x h7 bulbs for dip beam and 2x h7 for dip beam right ? Tnx anyway
Nice video. Replace the whole part for daylight?
Just Replaced top indicators and lights without unscrewing the wholelight off just, snuck the hand at the back and untwisted, replaced and twisted it back... Thanks btw
Thanks for the video
Where can I find the positive point of W5W bulb , and Indicator bulb in the coupler ?!
What voltage is the fob light h8 bulb ?
Brilliant
Thanx ❤❤❤tomorow fix my car
Nice video. My plug connecter release tab was broken so I had to prise the headlight out and work in the resulting small gap between the wing and loosened headlamp
Thank you
Nice video. Will I be able to get to my fog light from the back without removing anything on my vw polo 2019 cheers thanks
Thanks, I think you should be able to although that is the next generation shape.
Excellent, thank you. You just saved me £50 a local garage wanted to charge me for replacing a rubber seal on the back of the headlamp unit.
Do you have a favourite charity I could pay instead?
You’re welcome Carl, I’m very glad to have saved you money. I don’t have a particular charity I push but honestly, watching, commenting, liking and subscribing is more than enough thanks for me. 👍
Wanted to know if the dipped and main beam bulbs were the same and they are thanks
This only seems to apply to the Mk5 6R, the Mk5 6C looks a bit different for the DRL's..?
I'm not sure which exact models but yes this is the model that has 2 H7s but some others don't.
You'll find after a few thousand miles that those clips holding the housing in break.
Additionally one of the plastic clips in the centre of the strip of plastic that holds the light housing in place breaks...I've since riveted mine into place...
Would have been superb to see the unit go back in Tone.
what screwdriver is that called??
My 2013 VW polo has a MUCH less accessible side light. Almost unreachable.
Hi please help. My car focus is so lower side. N it's not getting up side or at proper side. Tried the button on dashboard and also the setting screw at headlight under bonnet
It sounds like the mechanism isn’t connected, the mechanism may be damaged inside if the setting screw isn’t doing anything.
@@IAMASPANNER yes. U are right. It was broken i fixed that and now all good. I set it. And so happy now. Thank you
Thanks, brilliant video, very well explained.
It's the "just pull it out" that always gets me. Mine was holding on with the strength of 10 tigers nearly pulled the hole front off. 🤔
I wish I'd watched this video before I attempted mine though. I snapped the connecting bit just unscrewing the first two bolts. :'( I'm sure my 1985 Polo wasn't as tricky! I'm dreading the time I need to change a back bulb. I need tinier hands for that.
