As you are finish braiding your hair for your Box Braids/Single Braids Hairstyle, next you will be sealing the ends of your hair.
Usually the hair that you use to achieve this braid style is synthetic so it is not best advice to use your curlers or a curling wand to curl the ends of your Box Braids/Single Braids extensions.
Adding heat from a curling iron can potentially melt the extensions or the curl from the curling iron may not give you your best curl result for this style.
It is best to simply dip the ends of the Box Braids/Single Braids in hot water.
Be careful and avoid dripping hot water on yourself and avoid burning your scalp with hot.
Once you thoroughly dry off the braid, run your fingers through the braids and to trim away any flimsy ends.

this hot water method is not working for me. A day after I did the hot water many braids began to unravel
either, your water wasn't hot enough, you section off a huge chunk to dip all at once and the water couldn't set all of those braids, or you didn't leave your hair in the water long enough. Quiet as kept, back in the day we use to boil a big ol' pot of water and dip our hair in that pot, nobody used a cup. She sectioned off her hair into two sections, we section hair off into four sections at the least to let the water penetrate and all of the hair.
Then you didn't do it correctly, your water has to be HOT HOT. I let my water boil for about 15 minutes before I start. A good way to save time is to start boiling the water while you're still braiding, I usually start the water when I have 3 or 4 more braids to go b4 i finish. As your dipping the the braids move the pitcher in a up n down motion Then of course you also have to properly dry the braids. I think your water wasn't hot enough though
@@daniesavage girl facts. I always use an old iron pot on the stove.. the kind I used to use to cook greens in.. nice and deep.. heats the water quickly. I wrap an old towel around my shoulders, I dip my hair right in my kitchen. Done.

I like the braid sealer, but a lighter does work just ass well. I have braid my daughters hair several times and I always use a lighter, and the flame has never ran up the braid....ijs
Wow, they are definitely selling all kinds of products these days... In my view, buying a braid sealer is like buying an egg boiler - just use a pot! A lighter and a damp hand towel does the job - simply light the very end of the braid, almost like lighing up a cigarette, for about 4 seconds and then wipe down the end with a damp towel. This is how its been done for decades where i come from in Africa.
Some people don't want the hot water method. Sometimes they don't want that straight hair on the ends.

at the end to make it equal u pull the hair before u put it in your head and u wouldn't need to seal it ..but good job 💯👍
Exactly, I just stretch the hair, or use pre stretched, after I braid all the way down & dip..I'm done.
I use a straightener on low or get it how turn it off and makes my hair silky straight

They burned the tips of my kanekolon hair with a lighter at the Salon and now my braids get frizzy and stuck I dont know how to soften the tips of the braids they also tangle at the end alot . PLEASE HELP .

No, not at all. If you have that problem, you should try barely trimming the rough parts of your sealed ends.
The braid sealer does not seal human hair, only synthetic hair.

Ok I'm ready to try this on my own but I have a quick question. In part one of the box braids, you said you used like 10 packs of hair. Is that really necessary? Most people only need a pack or 2 for there head.
I got box braids and I needed 8 1/2 packs. I depends on how it's done and the size
I did my own and I only needed 3 bags. Mine were medium size braids that were to my lower back. It depends on the size though like she said.
I am going to use 6 packs of expression because my big head has alot of hair so i need atleast 6 packs
1-2 paks??? If it is expression hair yes that's accurate but regular 1.99 kenekalon braid hair you'll need 10-12 paks
I used 14 packs 🤷🏾♀️although I felt the pack of hair I use cheated me out of my money with hair it was literally like 4-5 braids per pack I could get the the medium big size
