- Hi there! Today I'll be building, painting, and weathering this 1/72 Bandai Perfect Grade Millenium Falcon. Easily the best-engineered kit I've built up to this point and the most enjoyable build.
If you have any questions I'd be more than happy to answer them in the comments!

Thanks. I just meant a list would be easier than having to go back and watch again and take notes.
@@TheRuizsByTim I could probably put together a list of everything I used at some point in the future, I too would have to rewatch the whole video.
18:29 nice choice of music I believe that was Star Trek J J Abrams theme. Great modeling my friend. Love the patience.....
I think you have successfully captured the nostalgic "What a piece of junk!" feeling of the Falcon. Bravo!
I am snickering with sentimental tears right now.
Thanks for posting this video. Great hints and tips.
I'm now really looking forward to building mine.
Absolutely awesome work, well presented and so relaxing and satisfying to watch. I hope you’re proud of your build, you definitely should be!
Thank you. You have assembled a realistic millennium falcon. I like the attention to detail even in the areas that are not seen. The not so random, random dents and life scars were well spaced and oriented. Looks great.
He did such a great job!
totally agree! bandai should definitely do other things than anime and sci fi
Very nice!.. Hans Solo would be pleased with the outcome! 👍🇳🇿
The Force is strong with your modeling skills. What an incredible job. Bravo!!! 👏👏👏👏👏 Han and Chewie would be proud.
Thank you for showcasing the model. You have good instincts for what works and what doesn't. Bravo on the build. You did an amazing job.
It really is life changing when you go to Bandai. If anything it tarnished my view a little on my favourite western brands because there really is nothing stopping them from going the same route. It's like you say about putty -- the only time I EVER have to use putty on bandai is for the occasional fuck up on my part
This is a model I have wanted for years, but finding a quality one I can afford, has proven difficult. Nice video!
Wonderful work! Bandai are really good at making a quality kit just on snap-building usually without any sanding or modification.
But I definitely agree with you that I'd love to see them tackle real life vehicles. They're currently experimenting with dinosaur models.
Bandai would never do real life military model. Tamiya and Hasegawa fill that market and it is very fierce.
The detail in that model is phenomenal and your paintwork has made it all pop! Makes me want to watch some of the movies again as I never noticed that much detail.
Not into hobby modeling and I couldn't stop the video!!
Extremely nice work. One thing I used to do for "Blast Spots" was just a lil Powder from a Fire Cracker. Id sprinkle a lil bit on, put a Lighter to it real quick and in a 1 second flash, nice little Burned In blast point.
For nearly most of the video I was seriously concerned Princess Leia was going to end up as the pilot. I'm glad you corrected this before the ending. Nice work!
You could make a living selling these things dude! Hats Off! 🫡
Thanks for the kind words, funny thing is I used to but I stopped as it was not profitable enough considering how much time I put into it. If I wanted to make more money with it I'd have to cut more corners, this millennium falcon model was the last commission I accepted.
Wow. Fantastic work. Great Millennium Falcon. Greetings Aleš from Czech Republic 😎👌
I am just venturing into the world of models beyond lego and have recently build my first gunpla and loved it and found out about these Star Wars models and rlly want to collect some
This was awesome. I got to say I did kinda dig the flat black murder out Falcon.
Awesome build, weathering is great. They say less is more
This is so beautiful. Love your build and your technique, definitely a piece of art.
Excellent paint job.
Just a tip for future on streaking use water pencils for the streaking trust me the effect is brilliant aged and to scale you will never go back
I've used water pencils in the past and I find them more limited than oil paints, I can achieve much more varied effects of streaks with oils. Although using both methods at the same time works well too
I learned a simple trick once to covering up any mistake you may do when constructing a model. Just say it's battle damage =P
Totally amazing!!! Outstanding work! It really looks like It was real. I hope I can do such a good job, too, on mine model kit
Amazing work, weathering techniques are awesome. Thanks for making this video
That was an incredibly enjoyable thing to watch thank you so much
The detail and work you put into it is truly amazing ..
Good luck topping that on your next project
Great Build. Really like your approach. The Dune music was a nice touch...LOL
Great job! Enjoyed watching you build her. Thanks for sharing!
Fantastic! Those tiny decals were insane. Wish I had the patience or the skill to build something like this. Well done!
Incredibly beautiful!! It's most definitely a museum quality master work of art. Simply gorgeous! Thank you for sharing. Have a great day.
Beautiful build! I loved what you said about there not being one right way to do certain things.
I like watching different build videos to get ideas. There are so many creative ways to build, paint, light models etc. Thank you and all the model builders out there who truly inspire the model community!
Very pretty cat! Nice work! :)
I like the clear blue on the engines . Thanks for the tip, I have this model and I'm really looking forward to building it.
A great way to weather lines is water colour pencils make a heavy dot where you want it to start and brush down with a slightly damp brush you will be amazed with the effect of only a thin line and a slight yellowing that gives a aged effect
Looks really awesome. Thanks for sharing
Es todo un reto cuanto tiempo y pasiencia para llar a este resultado felicidades exelente trabajo es la nave que mas me gusta de estas peliculas todo mi respeto y admiracion .un saludo desde mexico cd
What a beautiful build! Well done.
Awesome build🤌👏 fun bit of trivia, for a while in the legends version of SW the falcon was actually painted black.
It was allegedly done for camouflage, but as something very bad had just happened, there may have been other motives as well.
Nice, very nice indeed.
A lot of work but it’s comes out fantastic. Well done. Look forward to other projects from you. Thank you for sharing.
That is a beautiful build man, and very relaxing to watch
That's great. absolutely well done :) Modelling has it all. Building, precision, satisfaction and therapeutic value....
Unbelievable! That is amazing.
Fantastic work and very well done!
This video is so pleasant to see! For me, more effective for relaxation than rain sounds and woods lanscapes. Awesome work!! Congrats from Chile
500 pounds now ...dam ! Great job !

awsome build, love it, I think I'm gonna look for this kit myself
Amazingly good!!! well done!
What an amazing job!!
Bravo, thank you for sharing. Great job! 👍
Fantastic job. Tip: you can take white LED's and dip them in clear paints to change their color. Also liquid electric tape works great to stop light leaks.
Fantastic work and great video, thanks friend!
Bad A..!!!!! Really nice work on the Millenium Falcon!!!!!
wow so nice work !
Looks really nice,I like yr weathering techniques 👍👍
a master work ! thanx for your efforts .
Incredible job!
@kerberosmodels I just subscribed and this is the first video I watched, I absolutely love how methodical you are and you put some serious love into your work. It must be frustrating doing every little bit but the end result must feel rewarding as hell. I'm gonna stick around and view your content whenever I can, seriously though your work is outstanding man. I especially loved that you talked and explained what you were doing with what equipment, not many people do. 100% a huge fan now!
That looks stunning 👍
A true work of art. Thank you for sharing the creation of this beautiful piece. The sheet of decals gave me a panic attack. LOL.
excellent work...just excellent...
Love your technique will follow exactly to the water when I’m to my monos specialist I Star Wars
Brilliant effort & result.
Hi from Sydney, Australia
So cool. Now I'm painting a 1/58 scale Millennium Falcon.
Wow,was this 3d printed?
Nice build kerb
ABSOLUTELY AMAZING...
the thing you said about expanding into other subjects, had exactly the same thought earlier, i'd love some aircraft, and other vehicles, kits from them. just bought my first Bandai kit, an A-wing, cant wait to start!
That's the dogs nuts.. I'd be soooo tempted to do a diorama with this or maybe a rotary stand that turns it on a tilted angle so you get all sides. The astroid scene with the giant worm would look amazing
Wow, nice ship.
Ein absulut detailirtes und lackiertes Modell . Top 👍
Very nice work, I will use this as a guide for my build. I was thinking of building an interior as well but now I'm considering maybe building it outside the model instead.
very nice work mate!
Just Wow , amazing
Impressive. Most impressive!
Amazing build. It’s a true work of art.
Wonderful job.😊👍
Great job!
Wow! Just....wow!
Not sure why this was in my recommended vids, but enjoyed it very much. My son has built a number of the smaller star wars Bandaid models but we have not done the extra level of detail you have. Amazing work! Nice tip regarding the makeup sponge and decals. Those have always been a problem for me.
a modell arist at work...wow...well done...nice video...all thumbs up
Love this vídeo, thanks a lot to make it. Share with my kids who are in the Warhammer universe and star wars too.
And is like watch and learn and be amazed for the model and the love and knowledge you put in the work. Finally I have to mention that that this work ( painting, dry brush, etc) is well applicable to any ship of the rebellion as well. (P.D. Sorry if my English is not good, I'm proudly from Argentina 🇦🇷🇦🇷🇦🇷. Wish you the best, and may the Force still keep on you!
Wonderful!!
Well done. Very good Job. 👍👍👏👏
Amazing!! Beautiful work! The music towards the end sounds like Dune(1984); nice choice.
