      Hey Haji, I gave up the drums after Van Halen kicked my outta the band. Hurt too much so I never picked up drum sticks again. I was going to use an old toilet seat as that would serve a dual purpose while shooting. But it was a bit too heavy and I can find any TP with this damn Covid19 crap. Be well brother and thank you!

    Why not drill a second hole on the leg extensions so you can just slide them down and re-pin, rather than having to remove, flip over, and put back on and then re-pin? You could also drill holes in 1" intervals to allow individual leg adjustment for uneven ground, leveling the table on a slope, etc.

    Hello. I see you've done a lot of tuning on the "Crosman 2240". I want to start playing with AirGun and plan to buy CP1 or Crosman 2240 (.177 or .22) I don't have much funds for this sport and plan to convert a little airgun to "Rifle" in the future. The air rifle will be designed to shoot only a paper target or similar fixed targets, it is also planning to make a wooden stock (standard rifle and / or "like" Wildcat FX). Which model is more susceptible to modifications Crosman 2240 or Kadar / Artemis CP1 ?? Thank you (sorry for my google-english).

    Hello Air Velocity Sport, I tried to find a way to message you and even tried on Facebook but could not find a way. So I'm going to try here. I have a question for you. I have a Crosman 2300T (.177). It has a 16" barrel, heavy hammer spring and uses a C02 cartridge. I have done all the trigger mods as well. Basically I'm trying to find out what I should expect from this gun, when it comes to precision shooting. I have been shooting at 60 and 75 feet at a target the size of a nickel. I'm trying to group dime-size at five to 10 shots a target. I can do so at 60 and 75 feet but it is not consistent. For example, three shots will keep in a dime-sized group and then two shots will be off an inch or I'll get six out of 10 to group dime-size. Then the next target, the shots will hit all around the nickel-sized target and will not group at all. Is 60 to 75 feet too far for this gun? Any help would be greatly appreciated,Thank you!

    • @AirVelocitySport
      @AirVelocitySport  Před 4 lety +2

      I originally had four different 2240s. And each barrel was different. One of the guns had a barrelthat when you selected the pellets carefully I could get a good 10 shot group at 30 yards. Remember it is important to sort pellets out of the tin. But the biggest problem is CO2.CO2 pressure can vary greatly from shot to shot depending on temperature and how cold to CO2 gets. Once I converted my 2242 PCP all of the variation from shot to shot went away. At 15 yards it really should not make that big of a difference using CO2. But since you are trying to shoot dime size groups it is going to matter somewhat. Try to polish and recrown the barrel. Then sort your pellets by weight. Also wait about minute between shots to allow CO2 temperature to stay consistent. Hope that helps.

Thouths advice?

    • @AirVelocitySport
      @AirVelocitySport  Před 4 lety

      Yes that's okay. I personally do not own a hatsan airtank. All it is is a SCBA tank. That can be filled to 4500 PSI. So for safety reasons they fill only two 3,000 PSI during shipping as the tempture can go up which will cause the pressure to go up. That could result in a ruptured burst disc.. It's up to you to refill to 4500
