One of the highlights of these shows on this tour (though he didn't exactly do it at this one) was Thurston climbing "the stacks" during the outro of this song. Though he would actually climb that PA precariously though with great agility... That specific blue jazzmaster took a severe beating on that tour the headstock was repaired at least once as it cracked where the wood met the tuners. And here, I don't understand how he can drag that guitar around by the cable without unplugging it, must be a super-locking output jack...

I like Sonic Youth, but I found Sonic Nurse comparatively weak. This and the Mariah Carey song were the only good songs on it. The rest all sounded too sedate for the Sonic Youth I was used to. (And I don't mean I only like Dirty and Goo, either.) That's just my opinion.
