Hi Larry. I agree. We were a little surprised at how few workers were there. The other "production" coach factories have hundreds of workers but they are also putting out 20 coaches a day. We were inpressed by the attention to detail at Luxe. Thanks for checking out the video. Safe Travels

That was a great tour of Luxe loved it. That is so cool to watch them make fifth wheels. Lots of hard work. Glad to hear they don’t rush in their work. Didn’t know they put the flooring on the floor.

Great video 😁 you haven't put new videos in a while is everything alright it seems that others you tubers are also getting off road for awhile even some of hdt's have stopped I don't know what the problem is well hope everything gets better

They are nice units for sure.....we were looking at them but decide to go with New Horizons. But I think Luxe is also a top tier unit
Hi Joe. We agree, Luxe is definitely top shelf. New Horizons are very nice as well and maybe just a touch above. :) Safe Travels
@@JonesN2Travel The top shelf, IMHO, is Spacecraft, New Horizons, Luxe. In that order. With about a 100K uplift going from a similar model between them. If a Luxe is 250K, a similar NH will be 350K, SpaceCraft 450K. SpaceCraft is incredible, but you really need to commit to a semi to haul them. NH, if you're looking at conventional tow vehicles (F450+), is likely the top of the top, they are doing things nobody else is (mini-splits for heat/AC, for example). Luxe is notch down from that, but there's a big cost gap.
Have a deposit on Luxe, so obviously I really like what they are offering. "The Best" and "The best you can afford and tow" aren't always (of even usually!) the same. ;)

Was that a Lippert frame?
I don't believe Luxe makes their own frames but I also am not positive they use Lippert's frames. My guess is that it is a Lippert frame. Safe Travels

Honestly I believe the frames are pretty much the same. At least Im not aware of any major differences. The DRV frame has been great on our rug. Hope that helps. Safe Travels
The axles at @0:50 are the same that I put under my 5er back in 2010. They've been excellent. They should be standard equipment on every 5er. They are designed for cattle trailers. The suspension and axles under modern 5ers are a joke.
Really wish we had IS on this rig. Maybe we can get it upgraded at some point. I agree, should be standard equipment. Thanks for checking out the video. Safe Travels
@@JonesN2Travel It's pretty easy to build a sub frame and mount those axles to the trailer using the existing leaf spring mounts currently on the trailer. No welding is needed on the trailer.
The sub frame is just 2 pieces of 2x6 or 2x8 steel tubing with holes drilled in them and tabs welded on. A welding shop could fab them up in a few hours. I took pictures and wrote it up when I did mine. I could unbolt my IS axle subframe and reinstall the stock axles in a few hours if I wanted to. However, I sold my stock axles shortly after installing the IS axles.
I'm surprised nobody makes an IS conversion kit. Would be really simple to do.

I don’t see anything here worth the price. This is built and nightmare-wired like a Jayco. No difference except wall thickness. Even the plumbing is the same. Better paint. Same crappy cabinets... but great content guys, not shooting the messenger here. I just think it’s sad that these coach builders can’t build something better than what they turn out.
I agree, some of these rigs are just junk because they are building 60 of them a day. The prices are out of control too. :) Safe Travels

I normally like your videos, but this one not so much. About all I could hear is your side of the conversations (that's cool, that's cool). I wish you would have talked over what we were seeing on a separate track in the edit room. Not even an introduction on the mission statement from Luxe on what they are delivering. Not much effort on this one.
Wow. Sorry to hear that. Never thought to read their mission statement. The parts of the conversations you couldn't hear was the sales girl talking to Kat and Bubba with me 20 ft away from them showing the different stages of the builds. Didn't mean to confuse you in thinking I was talking to someone but left you out of the conversation. Hopefully you enjoy our next video better. Thanks
