Canon 500D - review of a cheap but well performing camera, is this a good beginners camera ?

I review a very low cost camera from 2009, that could still be good as a beginners camera even today in 2024.
I line up the reasons that this is a good choice in my humble opinion, beginning with the low price, that you can get this camera for. But is price the only parameter, no off course not. I examine the cameras and exploit it features for the beginner.
I will do more reviews of cheap cameras, not all for the beginner, but cameras from the past, cameras that I think still hold very good value although they can be had for very little. Furthermore, I’ll go through all the Canon DSLR cameras that I own or have owned for what they are good at, and why I have used them.

The color rendering of the 500D is insanely good and film-like.

Yeah I like it too, and I think Canon has always been in the front on colour rendering, though I don't know about the new RF line of cameras, as I haven't had one.

Its like photos vs video. The best cheap Canon camera in 2024 is still the Canon 6D. But for video? No! Of course not. Just like the 500D, great for photos but videos. Nah.
