I hope we get an explanation of what Narutaki is someday. There are some old photos from the decade final chapter movie that showed him with a DecaDriver but clearly that never came to be, he's just a huge question mark now.
He was also carrying Tsukasa's camera in that. I heard a rumor somewhere that he is the "real" Tsukasa/Decade and the one we saw was his A.R. version. Which is why he is so bent on getting Tsukasa out of the Worlds, because Tsukasa, as the destroyer of worlds, would end up overwriting Narutaki's existence if Decade continued to exist.

What if Narutaki is a time travaler who came from a alternative timeline, where decade destroy his world and that's why he came back to stop decade journey.

Decade was my first Rider. I had heard there was a Shinkenger crossover, so I checked it out. I was lost having not seen any of either series. Checked out Decade in full and was hooked.
Decade was my first Kamen Rider show and first Toku ever. Interesting to know that W was being planned alongside. I was so very mad when I heard it would end at 31, and I didn't want anything to do with W at first, but I quickly warmed up.
Lucky for everyone, W did turn up to be a wayyyy better show.

Nice, love the video. As an American, I was largely unaware of the existence of Kamen Rider, unless one counts Saban's Masked Rider, which I honestly find a pale imitation of the original. However, when Kamen Rider Dragon Knight began to air over here, I looked it up on youtube and found the clip of Kamen Rider Abyss and Kamen Rider Decade fighting. I researched Decade and from there became a fan of the Kamen Rider franchise. While Dragon Knight got me curious about Kamen Rider, it truly was Decade that got me into the whole deal.
I loved the series and Decade is one of my top five favorite riders.
I was told by my friend that decade got mess up because the little budget that team have. So the series still contains many unanswered question until the end. They said the OG script has so many more stories.
Welp, considering that Kamen Rider Decade was pretty much my first Kamen Rider after Faiz, and Decade did get me curious enough to watch previous riders (like Blade and Den-O), I would say they succeeded in their aim for Decade
Decade is one of my favorite shows to watch, but it's so flawed that I can't really recommend it to anyone.
I hope we can get more deeper insight as to the vision of Sho Aikawa and the producer (it's the ever-dreaded Shinichiro Shirakura, right?) for Decade, which then led to the former quitting; hopefully, it will provide further insight as to why Decade's story got so WTF at its second half.
I wonder if Masahiro Inoue regretted doing the show seems he was happy for getting the role. The show had so many problems.

The producers were right. Thanks to Decade, I began to watch all Heisei Rider series that I haven't watched before because I was only ever watched Kuuga & Agito from start to end prior to Decade. After finishing Decade, I went on to Kiva, then Kabuto, Faiz, Den-O, Blade, etc.
Decade is my first Kamen Rider series I watch and that opens me to the Kamen Rider world. I enjoy the series to start to finish I can't wait to part 2 of this " Know Your Toku " amazing job 👍🏻
Yeah, same for me. I like the ideas they had...but it needed Alot of Work. It nearly made me want to abandon Kamen Rider. Thankfully, Kamen Rider Double helped bring me back in with that Marvelous two-parter Episodes!!

Kinda sad how Onodera's actor binged the entirety of Kuuga for his role,only for him to become the most hated character in the show and barely got many fight scenes.
True.. he is no Godai but Onodera's actor definitely tried his best with what he got. Plus, the series itself did him dirty.🥲

It has it's pros and cons, overall i enjoyed it.
I started with Decade and it almost turned me away from the series as a whole. Luckily, I gave W a chance and fell in love with the series.

I always looked at the Decade series; let's say for example Masked Rider Kuuga; as an episode of Kuuga with Decade in it as opposed to Kuuga being in a Decade episode.

No they're not. Kaito And Tsukasa are from different dimensions. And top of that Kaito Daiki is stated to not have any friends before leaving his homeworld, which isn't much before the time in which the story starts.

A show with one of the most interesting concept, but present it with the worst way possible- as a rider fan, I was so sad it come to this...
In conclusion of all comments in the comment section, Kamen Rider Decade is a real destroyer of the world. OUR WORLD. The canceled final episode, the obscurity role of Tsukasa in every movies, and of course Narutaki.

the number 1 thing I hate about decade is how powerful he is and how many powers he has it really makes the last 9 riders seem useless with I think is unfair because at least a handful of them could still beat decade
Connor Tessier not really, it makes sense that he's powerful, decade's the destroyer of worlds, his job was to kill all riders, so saying that he's powerful is like saying salt is salty, it was made for the specific job.
The other 9 useless? Not really, While decade is powerful, and his massive un-ending list of powers make him versatile, as seen with Den-O's power set, he can't master them all instantly or it requires something else like an outside force.
Other riders who could beat him? Okay, first, while yes, decade is still a rider, he can be beaten by other riders, but that list is smaller than you think, at best, Blade is the only one who can beat Decade, and even then, thats mostly a technicality of blade being an undead, meaning he can't be killed, only sealed, but thats still a technicality.

I hate how Decade became so Showa-y, the Anniversary of Hesei became ruined with lore and characters from 20 years before, The movies filling in the story didn’t help it either

CubeDamashii The worlds of Black, Rx, and Amazon were noticeably weaker than the ones before and were a chore to get through, Dai Shockers Goofy goons and outfits ruined all of the seriousness the show had built up. To put it simply, The second half didn’t focus enough on the past decade of hesei riders.
Shame 08 it went over all of the hesei riders, they could've back tracked, but then what would've been the point? Going over the Showa stuff and Dai-Shocker gave Decade his own identity, rather than simply having him going over other riders and only that.
Much as i liked the showa parts of the show, i agree, they weren't necessary. those episodes were only in there because the higher-ups didn't know what to do with the show after the group visited Hibiki.

Watch the show, listen to how they pronounce it, They say Dee-Cade so Dee-Cade is the proper way to say it, kind of like how everyone use to say Rye-U but it's pronounced Ree-U, It's a Japanese show not American, if they pronounced it Mary then that's how it would be pronounced, Get it right, man
ExarAnubis & also, it was called "Decade" as it was a 10-year thingy, thus CLEARLY having the original English meaning in it. everyone in the cast knows that & Murai even commented in a stage show wondering if there'd be a Kamen Rider Century someday. the only reason why it was pronounced as Di-kei-do was because of the Japanese's oh-so-common inability to properly pronounce some English words, like how 'radio' is pronounced as 'Ra-ji-o' instead of 'Re-di-o', & 'energy' pronounced as 'E-ne-ru-gi' instead of 'E-na-ji'.
So yes, it was SPECIFICALLY chosen due to its English meaning & was SUPPOSED to be read in English. the only reason it sounded like it sounded in Japanese was because someone in TOEI didn't bother getting someone to proofread their English shit & botched it, just like how they almost always do with English-related materials.
KR black and KR black RX still had the cool badass Actor, why? because the Actors, not just play the character itself, also play the action fight scene ( while others KR series use stuntman play the role of fight) and sing for the Opening song for both trilogy
You're delusional. EVERY single KR series since the very first ichigo used stuntman to play stunts whenever things felt too dangerous for the actors themselves, & yes, both Black & Black RX included! Fujioka Hiroshi broke both of his legs doing bike stunts on his own around episode 10 & remain in hospital for almost a year, which was why we had nigo to fill in. since then, NO MORE getting actors themselves to do every goddamn stunt there is.

@DIO BRANDO She's both the actress & suit actress of her character, sure, but that's not to say she didn't have someone else on standby if some things are just proven too risky. But then again, as a side character who didn't have too many scenes to begin, stunt or otherwise, she might actually be the only exception.

When I first saw Decade, I felt that it was the worst Kamen Rider show I ever saw. Now, yeah it still is one of my least favorite. I’ll concede that Ghost is technically the worse show but Decade is the one that pisses me off the most. And I’m watching all the shows again and not looking forward to seeing Decade again.

Imo the only good thing in this trash series was the return of Kotaro Minami, everything else is pretty much an insult to the previous rider series. Especially with Kuuga, they really butchered Kuuga in this series. Narutaki is also a stupid character with no purpose other than saying damn you Decade. If you take out his character out of the series, it wouldn't change anything literally.

I don't know where you got your shit from, but the ONLY Kamen Rider that was actually labeled as masked rider was Kabuto, & that was an in-show thing that was seldom brought up even IN THE SHOW. NONE of the other riders in Japan till this day is labeled as masked rider.

Kabuto had no fucking clue who it's villains were, spending a lot of time flip flopping around trying to balance a serious story with hit or miss comedy.
Hibiki wasn't even supposed to be kamen rider, and had tons of trouble in the background fucking the show itself over.
Faiz spent its time making half it's characters unredeemable assholes, punishing the good characters unnecessarily or straight up not knowing what to with them, I.e the fucking Orphenochs.
Blade is pretty good, not much i can say other than it basically making itself impossible to exist alongside Agito.
Agito is pretty much a long ass slog with a boring villain, same can be said for Kuuga.
Ryuki is the worst offender, not just with it's stupid multiple endings that all fail in different ways, but it's story is fucking weak, even the Japanese said the American adaption was far superior to Ryuki, and don't get me started on Ryuki himself, he was an idiot who caused more death than he was trying to stop, making the full situation even worse, while yes, he did develop, the supposed true ending basically says fuck that and slams the reset button, making everything null!
Dude, you can't hate something you know nothing about, so stop being a little bitch. besides, i know for a fact you can't call any of the pre-Kabuto/post kuuga shows having anything over Build, W, OOOs, Gaim or Fourze.
