Off Road Steering Build Part 3 - What we broke

If I brake it, I will tell you. In two earlier off road steering build videos, I show you how I use easy to get parts and build an off road steering systems that is tough and easy on the wallet. We tested it and at the Baja 1000 our Steering box disconnected itself from our truck at race mile 1198 of 1200. I show you errors in my initial design and some simple fixes to get ready for the next race. Thanks for watching!

Nice design. glad to hear it is working so well. With that result I'm inclined to replicate it on my build. I'll be looking for you at the Mint. We are working a road crossing by the Sloan exit. If you have trouble, stop in and we'll help out how we can.

The steering is a part that I am proud of. It has worked really well in both of our trucks. It seems durable. What is cool is that I can steer the truck even with the steering removed and just gripping the quick release hub, and the price is right.
Will be waiving as we pass the road crossing…hope we do not have to take you up on your offer.
