Okay, he's a keeper purely for letting you take the piss out of him as much as you did. XD That being said, my boyfriend doesn't ride either and you can be sure that I'm going to steal the 'Don't do X or he'll buck/rear/bite!' schtick. LOL
Honestly, Pete is angel, completely ok with this. I love how hobnit was so caring for both Pete ad Deedee 😂 hopefully we can see Pete again on some horse, but better with Cameron as an instructor. At least some people will finally understand, which one is your boyfriend 😂😂😂
I think doing a series on teaching Pete to ride would be amazing for the new/young riders watching this channel!! (Obvs if he's not too traumatised to ever ride again lmaoooo)

Excited for this video but then somewhat bummed out. Pete seems honestly interested and then basically got made fun of for stuff he simply cannot know, like how to groom or tack up a horse or how to hold the reigns.
Can’t wait to see him jumping bear in a few months Meg!

Megan!!! Thank goodness for Hobbit. Pete was such a good support to agree to riding for the first time and you did not make it easy for him. Dee and Hobbit were the stars of this vlog and Pete too of course. You and Hannah did not help his confidence at all. Pete did really well under the circumstances. I can’t tell the difference between Dee and Jam either, especially in the field xx

Oh my goodness - I understand the pain of trying to tell grey horses apart 🤣 I recently had to get a grey horse and tack it up and I had no idea if I was on the right horse or not lmao XD thankfully it was - also I must add the the glasses are fabulous x (the pinnacle of fashion at the minute)

Some friendly advice from a fellow equestrian: Remember to give them kisses on their nose before you ride otherwise they buck.

Pete! I have a 15 hh 3 Irish draught cross who is a safe horse, come and ride him he can be doupy lazy and if you drop a stirrup he will stop! Perfect for you 👍🏻

I have never clicked on a video so fast! It's not surprising that you found a boyfriend at all, your increadable! Pete is really coming out of his shell. Poor guy looked like he was going to have a heart attack when you said she was going to buck! With a few more lessons he will be ready to get on Bear. He's a real natural!

Poor Pete. I so glad Hobbit was there for support. I've only had a couple of lessons in my lifetime and yes Pete, they made me brush, pick hooves and tack up my own horse. I feel bad because he looked so scared. You did a great job Pete! Oh and Pete .... You can tell the difference between Dee and Jam by their legs and mane. (Helpful hint)

I nearly clobbered my boyfriend with a squash racquet when he gave me a “lesson”… was advised by a friend who teaches at a sports club to never ever let your boyfriend/girlfriend give you a lesson at anything🤣sure way to break up😤 Such good sports all of you and especially the lovely Dee🦄

SO late to the comment section, but good Lord Meg- NEVER be a riding instructor!!! I know that your aim here was to provide funny content, but you’ve thoroughly traumatized your BF with your “teaching” style and jokes about everything that will make her buck! Good way to make him NEVER want to get on a pony or horse ever again! I have just recently watched the more recent video where Pete took an actual lesson and did quite well, so I’m glad you didn’t manage to turn him off of riding forever. I’ve taught a number of boyfriends to ride, but for real. No jokes at their expense or laughing at them, just giving easy to understand instructions (including using analogies to something they are familiar with), doing demonstrations from the ground for visual learning, and being very patient and encouraging. Actually got two of my boyfriends so much into it that they continued taking lessons from me, and even continued riding even after we broke up!
