One of the best video I've seen, simple and loving, dear, I'm going to Iceland in March 2017 (12 to 17) is very little time but I'll enjoy it. What date were you there? I want to know if the weather will be similar for me; In my country there is no snow, so I hope Iceland is full of snow in March 2017 LOL. Unfortunately I can not rent a car; Do you have any recommendations of tuors for me with any company?
Hey! yes we did, i have a video in my channel, cant see much but we experienced strong winds while driving at night (we were looking for our hostel). Also, out car got stuck at 12am in middle of nowhere, we had luck but we were prepared if we had to spend the night in the car, we had sleeping bags (which i strongly recommend in case you need to rest before driving or so), also, we had chocolate and fiskkur (dried fish) for protein/energy reasons in case of any emergency. If you have any more doubts just ask!
Felipe Fortuna thanks! Did you find the wind to be more intense at night? I’m thinking of doing the trip but avoiding driving at night. Any driving tips for there?
@@TalheeezY for us, was no problem driving at night, just visit road.is everytime you go out driving, is the government website for road conditions... the road have a lot of spots for you to pullover, there are signs for it, in case you feel insecure try to pullover on these spots (never pullover on the road) and dint get out of your car until you feel safe. Also, as will have ice on the roads and etc, dont rush at any costs, drive in a speed that you feel control of the car and dont push the brake too hard, i dont know if you ever drove in snowy/icy conditions but i never did until iceland.
About wind, is really random, people say in iceland that is one of the most random weather in tge world, the weather change in minutes, so you can either get windy conditions during the day or night.
