Toilet Tower Defense, rather shortened TTD, is a Tower Defense that relies on gambling and one of the many gachapon-type of games to progress through. This game lures children into spending hundreds of dollars--their country's currency to get new towers (it's called towers, TTD players. why won't it be called Toilet "Tower" Defense). Honestly, I don't know how a developer team of two-one does the modeling and scripting and the other one doesn't do anything but just showcase the game that he "made"-and with such little efforts compared to other TD games like Tower Defense Simulator, Tower Blitz, Tower Heroes, Tower Battles, etc.
Oops, I forgot something. I do want to tell this to TTD players:

This is true according to my perspective
Before you watch this video, I just want to say that there are two sides of this debate, though please keep being open-minded.
Just because a game is successful it doesn't mean it has lots of effort put in, yet some people still don't believe this. pfft, confirmation bias
If you tell people to respect others' games, then you should also respect their opinions.
I also want to state that even though I'm on the opposition side of whether TTD shouldn't be moderated or not, I do respect the affirmative's opinions, only if you respectfully tell them to me.
Try to make some rebuttals all you want, but keep in mind I have many points.
Here's why, on the side of the opposition, on why I kind of made this video.
1. Tower designs are bad
- Towers (units for you nerds) use shirts and pants, yet given accessories from the Roblox catalog. For e.g. the default Speakerman, it uses an accessory mesh from the catalog and shirt + pants ID from the catalog, too.
- Most towers are never updated, and there are NO skins in the game for each tower.
2. UI sucks
- Fredoka One, the font used for TTD, is a very childish font. Honestly, if you were to make a tower defense game, you would at least use a font like Glacier Indifference or Black Ops One, to make it look epic. The only thing I can see epic is the thumbnail of the game.
- To make a tower defense game look professional, make the UI dark-themed, so it can maybe match the colors of Titan Cameraman per se.
3. Game mechanic sucks
- Most towers have almost no unique selling points, like custom animations for one to aim at the boss or looking up to kill flying enemies.
- Gambling is a good way to lure players, yet a disadvantage.
Some other cons of TTD:
1. Lack of Strategy: The primary focus of tower defense games is on strategic placement and upgrade of towers to effectively defend against enemies. However, in gambling tower defense games, the emphasis shifts from strategic gameplay to random chance, which undermines the core mechanics of the genre.
2. Unpredictability: The outcome of battles in these games is heavily influenced by chance, making it difficult for players to develop effective strategies or feel a sense of accomplishment when they win. This unpredictability can lead to frustration and a lack of engagement.
3. Exploitation: The inclusion of gambling elements, such as in-app purchases or loot boxes, can be seen as exploitative, as they prey on players' psychological biases and encourage them to spend money without providing a fair or transparent gaming experience.
4. Dilution of Gameplay: The integration of gambling mechanics can dilute the core gameplay experience, making it less enjoyable and less engaging for players who value strategic depth and challenge.
5. Negative Impact on Players: The psychological effects of gambling, such as addiction and anxiety, can negatively impact players' mental health and overall gaming experience. This is particularly concerning in a genre like tower defense, where players often rely on the sense of accomplishment and satisfaction that comes from overcoming challenges through strategic play.

Telanthirc is the most intelligent dev i have ever seen because he know that he just make bad things and still get a lot of money so why he must doing and making good things for his game by far.And yeah this game p2w too. I agree with you, man! I used to play Tower Heroes, Tower Blitz, and ever since TTD had risen up to the podium, the early generation of TD games have basically died. It's quite melancholic and sad that this happens. But it's reality.

Ttd uses gambling and a shitty brainrot to get 5 year olds that have attention spans of an ant to play their game. Tds even made a skibiti toilet gamemode for April fools and it was fun to play, but a lot more detailed. And they did it in a week, while ttd has a year in dev.

It's called towers, not units, regarding the name Toilet "Tower" Defense. Towers are the characters you put. Units are the things that spawn from spawner towers. Plus, OLD? I don't think they're old, if they are in the game present time then they are present time towers..

15,000 Robux is a lot (can you afford that in one day?), and a game bug took all of it from my brother, therefore it is quite obvious that some things must be changed, including the gambling gimmick of this experience. If there was a universe where TTD didn't have gambling as their main system, I would go to that universe and play THAT game instead of being in the POV of most present-time TTD players wasting thousands of coins and gems just to get one godly. How about you want to buy one godly, for gems, DIRECTLY from the marketplace? Couldn't hurt a lot right? Maybe, it's an advantage for you, but I can say that there's one time the data-save won't function, and ruin your economical career.
