You guys please, don't blame the coach! He takes care of the children so well. He told the children to conserve the energy by laying down because he knows that human can live without food for about 70 days. It's like a hibernation of the animals. He sacrifices so much by gave them all of the foods and water for ten days. Don't blame him. He also didn't know there would be the flood into the cave. He did so well! please encourage him.

This breaks my heart. Poor kids. I cannot imagine what they’ve felt during those days before they were found. And their coach is as old as I am. 25, he planned a beautiful day and it ends like this (worst nightmare for everyone who does something like this, education, coaching,...) he must’ve felt horrible. But, he kept the group together, safe and even fed them his food. I’m so glad that they’re all safe now. Hope they’ll be able to pick up their lives again soon.
Scary AF! I am getting all anxious just thinking of being in a cold, pitch black, flooded cave miles away from the surface. With a very a little chance of being rescued. Just imagining it is already starting to make me hyperventilate. I'll lose it in a few hours but they did it for 9 days. That is why I cannot find myself to blame the coach because to make the 12 kids to stay calm on that scary ordeal is just unbelievable. I won't be able to keep myself calm let alone 12 scared kids. It just shows that he is a good leader. The assurance and the comfort that he gave to those kids for them to keep it together must be the reason why they were all still alive when they were found. The meditation, the selfless act of giving his ration of food to the kids, he hugged them when they were crying, and holding their hands assuring them that they will be ok. And i read a thai article that the spot that they were found sitting was not their original spot. When they were seeking for the higher grounds as water rushing in, they arrived at a spot that was a dead end and not high enough for them to stay as water was still rising. The coach had to look around and was able to find a small opening but was covered with rocks. They had to remove the rocks and was led to a narrow passage way where they found a much higher ground. Who knows if it was a different coach. The outcome might have been different. Sure the rescue was bound to arrive but what if they only discovered bodies? These 13 is the epitome of human resiliency.

None of those kids drowed while fleeing further into the cave from the water floodimg the enterance, none of the kids died of starvation or dehydration. He kept them alive by himself for 10 days..I dont know why anyone would blame him. He is more than likely the reason those boys are still alive. If he wasnt there they would be freaking out, hyperventalating, unsure of what to do..he kept a group of 12 preteen-teen boys calm and as safe as possible..and he himself refuses to eat giving it all to the boys. I really feel bad that people blame him and that he blames himself.
the coach is at fault tbh. that cave is too dangerous and yes he is too young to be handling the whole team of kids on his own. good thing they were all alive except a diver died to rescue them
@@asroldan He's not at fault. If you've seen the documentaries, there was no advisory that there will be heavy rains that day they went inside the cave. The kids were too excited to go caving but the head coach cannot go with them due to some family circumstance so the younger assistant coach decided to join them instead. Just watched this on Disney+ tonight It was so inspiring! When the cave divers "got the call to help" with their awkward smiles and glasses it was almost like seeing the Avengers assembling/coming together. A very nerdy group of Avengers. But Avengers nontheless. Everyone who helped, whether they dove a kid out or helped divert the water or even moved a single rock, or carried an air tank up the mountain, are all heroes in my opinion. Every diver, every seal, regardless of country, US, THAI, AUSTRALIA, everyone is a hero! Best documentary Ive seen in awhile.
It was something that touched my heart deeply. See how people from all over the world worked together in this rescue, and also mourn the sergeant who died in the process. Actually I could only be silent for a moment how amazing it was that it was lucky that all of them had survived.
They collected dripping water from the cave ceiling since it is already naturally filtered.. they brought some snacks before going to the cave... the coach did not eat and gave his portion to the kids that's why he's one of the weakest when they were rescued...he also taught them to meditate - since he's a monk- in order to conserve energy
Just watched Trapped 13. I'm so humbled by the spirit of coach Eek, he's truly a fantastic ambassador for Thailand. When just a boy he lost his whole family and then he grows up to become this amazing human being, a guardian angel for these kids.

Me lol, I’m so interested in the story now, even watch the whole documentary, it’s unreal how similar they made the show to the real life. I thought the show was exaggerating some things but it’s unreal
you boys are very very very lucky,,pls be extra extra careful next time dont ventures too much on dangerous places, this is ur second life be careful,, the rescuers around the globe are so amazing i lvoe the team work.
Actually the cave is local tourist destination. Not a dangerous place before rain season. They haded to Pattaya beach area as usual. Then downpure happen earlier than other year. They need to go deeper as water raise.
13 lives in Tham Luang cave FAQ 1. why they go in there -cave exploring , Tham Luang is a Tourist spot so everybody could get in there(except rainy season) 2. why did they stuck -flash flood , They went in a weeks before rainy season and think it would still be save. 3. why it so hard to get them out -water level / narrow path(a really long and narrow path) / water current / muddy water provide no visibility for easy visual czcams.com/video/9KDih-WyODA/video.html 4. how're the kids doing -They're weak , they have no food/warm/light for 9 days before someone reach them. but at least now we can reach them. 5. why aren't they use the rope/drill a hole/pump the water out/doing this and that -the expert are currently working in there so you can expect some progress. You can be reassure that there's no reason whatsoever to let those kid and the coach die in the cave. every idea you can think of is already rejected or working on at this moment. Everyone is doing what they can in that situation. 6. then what can I do -nothing , just don't blame the coach / the rescuer / or the kids nobody can anticipate this situation or want it to happen. be respectful for the loss and be hopeful for the live.

I can't imagine the panic and the emotions they went through the time they got stucked in that cave. I'm glad that they were all safe and got rescued. Kudos to the rescuers, they did an amazing job saving all these lads.
The coach did a phenomenal job of keeping the kids calm and safe....those children are so incredibly polite and patient when the rescue divers showed up ...they didn't all panic and freak out when the divers had to leave them there!! I watched the true story movie made about this ...that coach did an excellent job with keeping their mental state in check wich helped to keep them alive that whole time!!
Hats off to the British divers who made the discovery and to the trapped team who look so calm in this situation.
No. Hats off to EVERYONE. the coach for being smart, the US, the british divers, the thai navy seals, and everyone who came
@@kylefam9356 I think they are congratulating them specifically because they were the ones that found them, came up with the idea to get them out and then did it, they aren’t trying to say no one else helped but they are saying that without the brits then maybe it might not of happened
@@kylefam9356 I mean of course everyone deserves recognition here but i think it was specifically the british divers who were the first one to reach that team of boys, no rope to follow, and not knowing what to expect either but still done it
I love that the whole world is helping out trying to rescue these kids
1000peoples thank you for hard work , this is miracle
Just watched this on Disney+ tonight
It was so inspiring!
Lol u dont thank the brits who were the ones who found them idiot

It was something that touched my heart deeply. See how people from all over the world worked together in this rescue, and also mourn the sergeant who died in the process. Actually I could only be silent for a moment how amazing it was that it was lucky that all of them had survived.

This is beautiful. When the Tsunami in 2004 hit there were so many thais helping tourists. Im glad the world could repay them somehow.....

How the hell did they last 10 days without food or water! It’s a miracle that they’re still alive ❤️ stay strong 💪
A Miracle from god. Prayer works

Naomi Gregg ikr but they were all extremely weak when they were brought out
People can fast for a long time actually, you just need water
Just watched Trapped 13. I'm so humbled by the spirit of coach Eek, he's truly a fantastic ambassador for Thailand. When just a boy he lost his whole family and then he grows up to become this amazing human being, a guardian angel for these kids.
seeing them has me in tears

Who are here after " Thai Cave Rescue " 😅
Me lol, I’m so interested in the story now, even watch the whole documentary, it’s unreal how similar they made the show to the real life. I thought the show was exaggerating some things but it’s unreal
you boys are very very very lucky,,pls be extra extra careful next time dont ventures too much on dangerous places, this is ur second life be careful,, the rescuers around the globe are so amazing i lvoe the team work.
ItsChikaTime no guarantee any of them get out alive. No 2nd life just yet.
ItsChikaTime they havent got out yet moron it could take months , they don't have a "2nd life" yet.
Actually the cave is local tourist destination. Not a dangerous place before rain season.
They haded to Pattaya beach area as usual. Then downpure happen earlier than other year. They need to go deeper as water raise.
ChikaTime they’re not out yet lol
They arent reading this shit anytime soon
Who else is watching this after the documentary
13 lives in Tham Luang cave FAQ
1. why they go in there
-cave exploring , Tham Luang is a Tourist spot so everybody could get in there(except rainy season)
2. why did they stuck
-flash flood , They went in a weeks before rainy season and think it would still be save.
3. why it so hard to get them out
-water level / narrow path(a really long and narrow path) / water current / muddy water provide no visibility
for easy visual czcams.com/video/9KDih-WyODA/video.html
4. how're the kids doing
-They're weak , they have no food/warm/light for 9 days before someone reach them.
but at least now we can reach them.
5. why aren't they use the rope/drill a hole/pump the water out/doing this and that
-the expert are currently working in there so you can expect some progress.
You can be reassure that there's no reason whatsoever to let those kid and the coach die in the cave.
every idea you can think of is already rejected or working on at this moment.
Everyone is doing what they can in that situation.
6. then what can I do
-nothing , just don't blame the coach / the rescuer / or the kids
nobody can anticipate this situation or want it to happen.
be respectful for the loss and be hopeful for the live.
