Great advice! Small sips like it’s hot helps to not be overwhelmed by the alcohol. Some videos I watch the people take one sniff and rattle off 7-10 notes and one lady is about 3 months into her journey? I watched a couple of videos with master distillers and they said if you pick up 3-4 notes you’re lucky. I’ve also found that on different nights I sometimes get new or different notes on the same pour. Very to the point video!!
