      Why would you compare anything with the ultimate POS like rover?!? You may as well compare it with yugo.
      Ever since the Old Man Honda died (1999?), honda has been circling the drain in terms of quality and reliability. Adding its unwillingness deal with screw ups and the fact that it's made hell knows where in South America, it's no longer a viable choice. For about the same money, you can get a real MADE IN JAPAN beast - Toyota 4Runner.
      Feel free to ignore.

    I like the passport look. It looks sport type and aggressive. Also in my opinion if the took so ideas of the interior layout from the new accord like the display and steering wheel than it would look amazing.
    Who else agrees?

    Tested a base 2wd passport a few months ago. Good oomph for a 6. Went to look at a RAV4 adventure since you have to step up a trim level for AWD and that button shift gave me the slot machine mentality. But when I read that fwd can tow up 3500 and Awd can tow up to 5000 lbs. I’m seriously looking at the passport again.

    Very nice video you did a great job and the camera and audio work were also very nice. Two small comments and I also have a Passport Elite. It is tri-zone, not dual zone for climate control and with the Elite you can control it from either the front or second row seating area. I thought the S in the DS mode switch was also Sport but according to the manual the S stands for Sequential and as you rightfully stated controls the behavior of the paddle shifters. The sound system was a pleasant surprise for me, really great sound. Again thanks for making this good video.

    I love how u did the comparison between both models, I purchased the 2019 Pilot Elite Diamond white pearl in August of 2018 from Plaza Honda and I ❤️ it so much I would not trade it I also already put 7,000 miles that’s how much I enjoy driving my Pilot. My wife just purchased the very first new 2019 Passport Elite Diamond White Pearl from Plaza Honda in Bk, NY on 02/04 release date from our experience we both like the passport as a better choice if u don’t need the 3rd row seat ...

    Hi Justin. I'm wondering, since not in your area but would come visit if I did, about a few things. I haul a trailer with my vehicles and want to know how do you take it out of OD? Do you press the D/S button once and that will put it in Gear 8 (or is it using the paddle shifters to lower it from Gear 9 to Gear 8?) No one else I've talked to can answer this one: I called Sirius and they told me the following-I'd have to change the module (in the radio) to get the satellite radio to be just Sirius (with the 12-digit code like I currently have in my Ford vehicle) so I can get some of the channels I'm subscribed to vs. the Sirius XM (8-digit alpha numeric code in the Honda Passport) and I wouldn't get some of the channels I'm subscribed to unless I go up in the subscription package and pay more money each year. Any help? Thank you!

    • @Smailhondavillage
      @Smailhondavillage  Před 5 lety +1

      There really isn't an overdrive, so to be able to control the speed of the vehicle and get more control over the gears, you put the vehicle into Sport mode, which will allow you to control shifting with the paddle shifters.
      As far as Sirius, it sounds like you could possibly just use the Sirius app on your phone and play it over Bluetooth, although I do not have a specific answer for you. It also depends on the trim, because the Sport trim doesn't have the satellite radio anyway.
      Sorry we're not more sure on the Sirius thing, but hopefully this helps answer your questions!
