That sound awesome you getting a dyno, That is a very good looking 04 GT, love the blue. That's the color I wanted but black will do.Nice job of repairing the stuff that needed to be done, It sounds pretty healthy and revs to the moon, great job tuning.
That thing is sick. Personally I’d leave the GT body kit to make it a sleeper. That why if 5.0s, Camaros and maybe 392s try to bully me I’d smoke them and and say it’s a stick 2v to hurt their feelings
Lol. I kind of agree but I mean you can have body mods people still ain't gonna respect a new edge unless maybe a terminator. Nobody is going to expect Gap sauce coming from a new edge.
My stock 4.6 4v 96 cobra with only 3:73’s, a cheap ass bbk intake, and muffler delete would hurt 392’s feelings around my area lol, I would take off on coyotes 1st and 2nd gear, but they’d come around 3rd gear…let’s see how they will do now that I’m really fbo with a 4” jlt intake, brand new oem injectors, cleaned out oem upper and lower intake for better air flow, and full exhaust with a tune on 4.30 gears, I bet coyotes will get that sauce from light to light now, on the top end I know they’ll still get me but from light to light I should be able to beat them or keep up with them depending how modded they are as well
@@petrolhead8851you can good choice on the 4.30s them things need gear bad I'd do 430 or 456 na 4.10 if boosted unless you're turbo then stock 3.27. Love those cars I used to have a 97 and I'm about to buy another one soon with 91k. It is mostly stock I look forward to playing with it. Not sure if it has a gear or not I think I may throw a 456 in it if it has 4.10 already ill just leave em and throw a blower on it. They can hold their own alot more than people think when done right and driven right.
Love those NEW Edge "pocket rockets" just the right size for a Coyote or Voodoo engine swaps, watch out Terminators, seen a voodoo New Edge destroy a Shelby GT 500, mind-blowing......
It would have to be a really well done, lightened voodoo to "destroy" a gt500 unless it was a stockish 07-09 with bad driver. They're awesome though nonetheless I like em too.
@@midnight347 Not too sure about all the details of the build, but it was featured in Muscle Mustang's and Fast Fords, professional build, acid dipped body, a ton of work went into it, even had ambers, maybe the gt500 guy had a bad hair day, he got smoked..
@@midnight347do you realize the weight a new edge is compared to an s550? Coyote swaps are running 2020+ GT500's with ease pony car vs a sports car str8 line pony wins EVERY TIME. Hell i just seen tetminator cobra walk one with no issues. They might be good against newer cars but definitely not when it comes to the family #SVT did it better

_If you had the choice between cars would you pick a gen 1 s197 coyote or a gen 2 s550 coyote? I'm still keeping my 03 but just want something a lil newer and the 5.0 seems tune friendly. I heard it can take way more power without worrying about the bottom end much like the 2v._

Technically it can work but you would need 18+ style shifter and clutch. Not worth the swap in my opinion

A ported boss can easily match a ported 18. Stock vs stock it'd be close the 18 might have better torque.
