My favorite thing are children's characters who are legitimately intelligent and not man children. He's talking and puppeteering at the same time, and reminder ONE person is in that suit. That shows how amazingly talented he is.
Fr, it kinda makes him his own person like how canonically he does a TV show for kids, but presumably he is a grown man intelligent enough to teach those kids.

So when he lowers the left arm, the right comes up, if you look closely you can see it, although it's very well hidden and choreographed. It's still just Noel MacNeal as a single puppeteer and voice actor.
One of Jim Henson's greatest achievements IMO (despite Bear being after his time). The Muppets have such a lifelike and pure feeling to them that you rarely question their presence among people. He literally gave fictional characters life.
If you're gonna be a children's icon, it kinda pays to be smart as well, because you look educated, and you also look like you could actually teach kids things. That's what people look for when they want a representative for kids.

I've tested that sneezing hypothesis and found out it is possible to keep your eyes open. You just need to actively concentrate on forcing them to stay open. It's actually annoying and not worth it.
