- Reva goes to Miss Sally's room and they spar over HB's visit to Sally the night before. Sally says Reva will end up alone - that she's already lost Kyle and will lose HB next. Reva tells Sally that she'll never be the matriarch of the Lewis family and that she'll make sure HB doesn't come near Sally again for anything. Meanwhile, Kyle is looking at Reva's portrait and says he must finish it today. Instead he daydreams about his time with Reva as Tyler & Dawn and covers up the painting to finish it another day.

@patriciajones4206 It seems that she took way more grief from Kyle than she ever did from Josh. She gave Kyle chance after chance whereas with Josh, she almost required him to be the model partner.
@@phyllisjf3042 Josh and Reva grew up together it might have been a case of knowing each other TOO well. She also DID give Josh TONS of chances, Josh actually seemed to walk away and in to others arms more quickly than Reva ( Annie/Terri, Olivia a couple of times, Cassie.
Miss Sally was Reva only one generation before.

@@phyllisjf3042for me the difference is that Reva was all heart. She made some wild choices over the years - including marrying HB - but she led with her heart and Sally operates from position/angling for power & social status.
I always thought Kyle and Riva were great together and had great chemistry. I knew his mother would screw it up. Sally was much worst for HB than Riva but Riva needed a strong man of her peers. HB was just not youthful enough for a vibrant woman such as she.
This was the most watched video on my channel until I posted Reva’s 1995 return (and Cross Creek in December 1996). Watching Reva & Miss Sally spar - and the famous ‘You are nothing but a vicious backstabbin’ thief in the night whore!’ line are classics! I do wish I’d known how to edit out background noise in 2010 - will have to edit before making a short 😊

I hated Miss Sally!!!!! I can't think of a character in Guiding Light's history I disliked more.
Oh I definitely yelled at her on screen shenanigans more than once during the Reva/Kyle romance :)
Ive never liked her even in the classic westerns she played in. She always had that sneaky untrustworthy attitude. It showed in her demeaner She played the B very well. She was also starred in Rifle man .. I can see her playing a madamn running a business of escorts BKA whores for profit. I disliked her as much as i disliked the Sally Spectra on B&B although she was much more amusing and hallarious and I did like and respect her daughter Macy.. However i truly despised her as Rose on Y&R .. She was head of a black marketing baby ring luring innocent girls who were pregnant into her orbit pretending to help them only to help deliver the babies to be sold on the black market for BIG bucks..
