It's coz a lot of people still didn't bother upgrading to current gen since at the beginning of their cycle they were getting sniped and u couldn't even buy one (PS5 at least) and when they did become readily available they were so overpriced for so long. And after all these years with the super long game development times etc, for may it's still just not worth the upgrade. in most parts of the world, PS4 and Xbox One is what people currently play...so that's still current gen coz it's still the larger console base. I love my Series X and obviously play a lot of the PS5 but can see why a lot of people didn't feel the upgrade was legitimately worth it for a console that was going for the price of a small car.
Honestly if 2k copy and paste 14 and just make it more modern without changing isomotion, the shot meter but ofc eliminate green misses, and the strong animations, i'll buy the game
2K needs to make the story line go years and years in my career instead of just the first year because it gets stale after a while! They should talk about now you are in year 3 or 4 etc. New drafts picks, trades etc. Make it more realistic because I hate the city and park etc. Dudes just be doing stupid stuff. MyNBA lacks and issues. Lacks: 1. Free agent signing and player trade conversations - They had this on previous 2ks i donnt know why they took it off while it adds a realism to the simulation. 2. Cut Scenes of Championship Parade, Draft Day, and Trade and Draft Acquisitions - FIFA has this dope cut scenes with their manager mode (Playersignings and Trades) 3. Draft Combines - Only the scouting reports and draft combine stats are the basis now when drafting players. Back then 2k has this combine or workout invites to the players that are joining the draft so we can feel their playstyle idk again why did they remove this. Should be added again and put other playable draft combine drills/ 4. Player Morale Impact - During 2k14 and 15 we can pitch players to sign and sometimes disgruntled players that are planning to leave for free agency only needs to be talked to so ttheir morale will go up again. Idk again why tf did they remove this. This helps balancing the simulation of creating a super team. Issues 1. Too many players are retiring even if they are young. 2. Challenge for a call sometimes are buggy you dont see the insant replay even if you dont push any button it goes fast forward to the result. 3. Add FIBA Games in the MyNBA current era i know it also has something to do with legal rights with FIBA but like EA on FIFA they have rights on different leagues and even world cup. As the season progress a football player is pulled out from the team for their national team duties. I hope they add this to 2k or if not EA might capitalize this from its Association Mode. Since they are known from having multiple rights of sports platform. 2. Be a GM/Coach of a National Team like Fifa other countries can offer you a international Job. 3. Bring Back everything thatt I mentioned on tthe Lacks List.

For me if by some miracle I get the game on PC (and is next gen), I want better online connectivity. I got a really solid internet connection but for this game I always have like 3-5 seconds delay while playing. Moreso if the game force to go online.

2k also needs to revamp the starting 5 mode and and make it for pro am, would be nice to have my own Pro am team with 4 A.I vs another player and his 4 A.I’s the more games you win the more XP you get to upgrade your A.I teammates attributes, so you can basically coach your own team and play with your myplayer as well and it’s vs other players, my team is too much of a cash grab, this mode would be fun.
