Brilliant! One of the best LEGO castles I've ever seen. There is so much to like. It looks both secure and practical: the soldiers could actually live there and defend it. The design has a consistent micro fabric to it but also a lot of interesting macro variation. It's compact but not overly so. The autumnal plants are fantastic. Your video also does a great job of showing it off.
Thank you, I tried to build a fairly compact but complete castle that looks good in minifig scale, glad you like it.

Interesting. I was planning to build a big castle but I'm new at this. Can your roughly estimate the amount of parts used? I want to see what does it take to build a castle of this scale. How much does it weight? Did you do interiors for the octo-tower and if you did, how did you do the floors?
Brilliant moc, I especially like some of your small builds for trees and brick-built animals. Have you considered adding any water?
Thank you, I finished all the trees and animals before I had even started the castle.
At first I wanted to include a river/stream on the right side of the castle, before the forest would become denser, but I didn't have enough parts and it would not fit on 2 48x48 baseplates anymore, maybe next time.
its really good, to be completely honest, i think the weathering and dark grey and dark tan bits you put a bit too much of in the walls, but thats just my preference, i am in no means an expert at moc building

Would be nice, but I think it would be too big of a set, especially with such an extensive/part intensive landscape. Lego does need to create more castle sets though, we're sadly lacking a dedicated theme for years...
