Come on guys, I love you but you can't judge doja's lyricism based on songs like this, that aren't intended to be taken seriously, and are just jokes/meme/tiktok content. That's like judging doja's artistry based off of "Moo" .You guys reacted to "woman" but didn't pay attention to the great lyrics. You also loved streets as well, you should also react to "alone","been like this" and much more. She has her fun songs and more profound songs. And doja writes her shit, you can't attribute everything to her team. I would say Doja was better lyrically before joining her team. The latter has improved the quality of her videos and her performance style, but I wouldn't say they improved her artistry, that's all doja. However they will push her to do more fun tiktok songs because that's the brand they imposed on her, and her fun poppy songs are more commercially successful.

Kittens, calm down. Y’all know Doja is more about flow, voices, hooks, one-liners, melody, production, charisma then she is a lyricist. Or at least that’s what she’s more about in her career so far. And that’s fine. It doesn’t make her any less of an artist. Though it is true that if you listen to her whole albums rather than just checking out music videos you’d get a more varied look of her as an artist and also get less pop-centric songs.
