Tbf if I was Lino I would see no pathway to the first team especially after seeing Arteta insist with Kiwior at LB even though it was clearly not working. Shocking not to get a few minutes under those circumstances.
Champions league final tomorrow. Who would you start at LB if the only choices are Kiwior or Sousa?
@@TheGoonerTalkTV Definitely neither, but if there was no choice then I would shoehorn Kiwior in the position so he would start. I'm not saying Lino should have started any games, I'm implying that he should have gotten a few minutes at least when it was clear that Kiwior was performing way below the required level.
I honestly and sadly see no pathway to the senior team with Arteta at the helm. Simple as that 😢

Okay then what about establishing Saka, Smith Rowe Nketiah and Nelson in the squad?
@@TheGoonerTalkTVTom i respect your work but there is a concern here. ESR and Nketiah will likely be sold in the summer. I feel he is only keeping them because he does not have an option. Establishing a player is different from bringing up your own from the get go which he hasnt. The academy players he established (props to him for that) are not players he himself brought up. If he does this with even one of our current crop, i will gladly take humble pie. At the moment the jury is out for his ability to bring in academy players and establish them.😅
@@TheGoonerTalkTV All the above with the exception of Saka have been on the cusp of being sold. And they still are. Where Saka’s concerned, his breakthrough was made possible by Unai. Arteta clearly continued the trend simply because his skillset was clear and obvious, and we had no one else that strong and direct within the same position.
I’m not knocking Arteta. But I need to see more of our young gunners get the opportunities they deserve.
Dear lord i hope we dont sell lewis skelly int his manner. That guy is a gem. Still cant believe we let sousa leave like that. I dont mind ibrahim moving on i dont think he would have made it at arsenal sadly.
