    Buying an ls swap harness premade for your vehicle is a good idea when u have money to blow but the real lesson and challenge is when u do a stand alone is hard at furst but when u label and get an idea how every thing goes thats a huge gain in knowledge and satisfaction knowing.how everything is wired up u can pretty much do a stand alone for any vehicle thats the benefit of actually taking your time and studying the harness schematics after that it all comes together like a puzzle.

    I just found this channel a few ago and subscribed as you guys need the help that are trying to make it easy for the next guy and since gm spit a few million of them now, find them at wrecking yards for affordable prices. Halfass Kustoms just separates the wires into catagories and uses the stock to LS conversion easy. If its cheap and easy, clean and no fussing, I lean that way. He explained it over the phone to DD Speedshop and he was able to do it quick and easy so moved on and while engine was out on the next swap had that bunch of wires sorted in a big hurry and running in just no time so money saved is more money for project. The system you have is really good for the kid who is in the learning to shave category. Plus its pretty but that is what the looms are for. I give a like cause your honest and straightforward

    When you have to crank an engine over to build oil pressure take the spark plugs out of it it'll buzz over fast enough with them out it won't hurt anything and it'll build oil pressure quick cranking on it with the plugs in you are gonna wipe out a flat tappet Cam I know the ls is a roller just letting you know takes 5 minutes to pop the plugs

    @SniderTron 3000 I have question do you need a steering column for engine to start that's what this guy told me if I do ls swap I'm going to need the engine key because of a chip

      Nope, that guys a chump. If you're using a stock computer you'll have to turn Vehicle Anti Theft System off in the tune, but thats all. You can run these engines with 4 basic power wires

      @SniderTron3000  Před rokem

      You can just order adaptors to go from ev1 to ev6. They're like $20-30

      If you can do a sbc swap and wire up an MSD box, you can do an LS swap. But, buying a swap harness makes it a lot easier
